Potts not the only Red Raider with concussion
Sorry to scare anybody...
Actually Danny Amendola got licked pretty hard returning a kick (against the lowly Lions of all teams) and suffered a concussion in the process. He walked off the field but did not remember doing it. Hope all is well with him! He is actually having a decent rookie season receiving kicks, punts, and making catches as a receiver. All of this considering he wasn't drafted and he's playing on the Rams. Welker, Crabtree(finally), and Amendola(unexpectedly) are all representing Texas Tech well as receivers at the next level.
There is a little video that shows it with the brief story...

OUCH!
That was a H to H hit, too, looking almost as bad as Sheffield’s hit. It is so fast it is hard to make out, but by stopping it and starting it I was able to verify the H to H. I sure hope Danny recovers OK, but he definitely needs to ensure no permanent damage was inflicted before ever returning to the field. That was an awful hit. He does set himself up for a bunch of these type hits just because he makes so many returns. My prayers are with him.

Not a clean shot
You’re right – head is down and catches him right about chin-level.

I have had two concussions. U don’t remember much. Yes they have to keep there head up. It just shows how hard these guy play. They play these teams every year they want to make them remember how hard they hit.
