No drama but Military Families here at Fort Hood need your prayers

We have experienced a very large tragedy here at FT Hood. No details are forth coming yet and I‘ll let the Public Affairs folks and the Chain of Command inform everyone.  The news guys will out eveything.

But on a human note the Families of these Soldiers and civilian workers here on Ft Hood need your prayers. Ft Hood and our neighboring communities deal with combat losses nearly every day.  But these senseless acts really do diminish us all. Thanks. Keep the faith. Send your prayers.

Prayers to all concerned

I heard of this tragedy this afternoon at work, but only got to look into it upon arriving at my house. This was a senseless act and one that will affect many people on and off the base. Only God knows why this man would commit such a gross act of hatred and mayhem. My church here in Austin and most, if not all others will certainly be praying for the soldiers and their families and friends. This is the second time the Coperas Cove area has suffered a terrible tragedy like this, with a man killing and injuring many at an eating establishment there about ten years or so ago. Another sad day for us Texans to endure. May God be with us all.

So is the female LEO who shot him too

(was originally reported that both were dead)

Now we get to spend more tax dollars to put him thru court. Should have killed him……

I know that’s rough but look at what happened. That’s insane. Soldiers give their lives everyday for this country and do as they are told no matter what the circumstance. This guy is upset and decides to do the unthinkable……

surprise bonus

active duty military officers fall within the purview of the UCMJ. So any criminal trial will be going through an institution that already wastes so much money that one little courts-martial won’t even be noticed.

I'm of the opinion

that he should be provided with top medical care, and a one way first class ticket to Club Gitmo.

I have an idea.......

let’s get him back to 100% and then stick him in a cage with Brandon Carter. Then we can tell Brandon Carter that Hasan thinks wrestling is fake.

Ka – F***ing – Boom!!

but “Gitmo is inhumane”. And killing 12 soldiers stateside isnt!?! Liberals… sheesh. Anyhow, his medical treatment should get mixed up, give him a sex change instead, and since he is Islamic, just send him home. Let him get treated like a woman there by his own people.

Exactly. These are probably the same people who are making excuses for the guy like “being in the military so long has worn down his mond!” Gimme a break. There are thousands of other soldiers who just serve their country loyaly without randomly losing their mind.

Much appreciation for the kind thoughts.

Thanks to all. I appreciate your help and prayers. Yesterday was as bad it gets. The first responders did great job mitigating the horror. Please keep the families of the fallen and wounded in your prayers as they pick up the pieces. God Bless America. Thanks again.

Yesterday was a Black Day

for us all. Some are closer than others and experience it differently, but we all have been hurt by this failure in our community.

Above all, every person must be treated with dignity and respect. It is not about them, but about us, who are we, not who is he?

I pray God’s Blessings for us all, excluding no one.

Centex....Still praying for you guys

Would ask the same for all inclined to do so. Especially this week with Veterans Day and emotions still very raw for all in Ft Hood.
I know it is a strong community. But we should be praying for miracles (big and small) for those folks who are dedicate themselves to be their brothers’ keeper.
