Michigan St. suspensions, and the Alamo Bowl
So, most analysts are predicting that we will play MSU in the Alamo Bowl. Fine. But I thought this story about some brawl involving 8 to 15 MSU football players was pretty interesting. If this is true, and they are all found culpable, then they are in big trouble for our predicted bowl game. Just thought it was interesting. Thoughts? We may have a cake walk in the bowl game if they can't field a team. Link on ESPN.

The bowl's a month away...
They cudn’t possibly stay suspended till then.
If the players are found guilty
of being a part of the brawl, they could be suspended completely from the team, maybe with provisions for meeting certain things to be reinstated by next year. At any rate, they all will probably miss the bowl game they are selected for. Actually, I hope Wisconsin or Northwestern get selected for the Alamo Bowl, especially if we play there. If we somehow get to play in the Holiday Bowl, it will be a doozy if Oregon get the nod, too. Anyway, I would prefer not to have to play a 6-6 team such as Minnesota or Michigan State. For me, there is little to gain but a whole lot to lose in that environment.

If these guys don’t play in the bowl game they are going to lose some serious production on the field, I was checking out the stats and they appear to be one starting WR and some guys who receive solid pt. If they don’t play it would give us a huge advantage in my opinion.
