We need Def End

I hope we can see a video soon and find out his stats. I know it is still only on the pay sites.

WOW!

I had not seen this one coming….A 4-STAR!…no less. This has got to start creating some interest all over with the commits Texas Tech is receiving. This guy could come right in and replace Sharpe immediately. Oooohhhhh booooooyyyyy…….!!!!!

Another thing

He is from Honolulu, HI. Maybe with his signing, Tech can obtain a commit from Sam Fehoko’s brother…..

He is listed by Rivals as like the 3rd or 4th best JUCO recruit overall this year (saw it on some free article on rivals). Sounds like he will be a great addition to the ranks.

But Don Williams says otherwise

“Tech also is hoping to sign junior-college defensive linemen Donald Langley and Scott Smith, but as of 7 p.m. Wednesday there was no confirmation that either faxed the necessary paperwork to Tech coaches.”

He also says that Carpenter has signed and plans to enroll for the Spring Semester…a first rate looking Left Tackle in the making !!!

Beau Carpenter

Welcome to Texas Tech all of you new Red Raiders…..I think Williams’ article was written too soon to show Smith’s signing. Hopefully Langley will get his papers in quickly as well. At any rate, two worthwhile signings that bode well for Tech’s future plans. This coaching group has done an amazing job and we fans will enjoy the fruits of their efforts for years to come. GO TECH!

I guess

rivals jumped the gun, or knows something DW doesn’t. They still show him as signed on their site.

Rivals

has both Smith and Langley as signing LOI now…

by batmantt on Dec 17, 2009 12:10 PM CST reply actions

Langley has signed and faxed.

Smith called coach leach yesterday morning to say that he was committing to TTU. the LOI has not arrived.

by kayakyakr on Dec 17, 2009 12:56 PM CST up reply actions

LOI arrived for both today

This is great news as these three latest signing provides Texas Tech with extra depth during Spring practice sessions. It can only mean improved play as these guys will challenge the returning players for playing time right from the start. Now, let’s end this season with a big win in the Alamo Bowl by blowing the doors off of Michigan State.
