ESPN's Rank 'em Games of the Decade - Tech vs Texas 2008
Here's another in the continuing "Best of" or "Greatest" series that we always get at the end of a decade. This one has an interesting Red Raider wrinkle, though.
Over on the ESPN Sportsnation page, they've ranked the top 25 games of the 2000's (all sports). There are a lot of great games/moments that you'll surely recall.
And the 2008 Texas Tech vs Texas game is currently ranked #9 ...!

The whorns must have this posted
They have like 10X as any votes as we do for their Rose Bowl win over the surfer dudes from LA.

We're the only one in the list of 25 that was a regular season game
Look down the list & only one mentions a team by name. Every other game is identified by the playoff or tournament title. I think that play was the college football play of the decade, like Kordell Stewart’s last second TD against Michigan was the play of the 90’s and Doug Flutie’s TD against Miami was the play of the 80’s. I’m glad I was there to see it in person, but at the time I was furious that we weren’t lining up to kick a field goal with 8 seconds on the clock. What do I know?
