Around SBN: The Worst Team Ever Projected?

Monday's Five Questions

We missed a week (last week) for Monday's Five Questions, but get cranked back up this week.  As always, five questions about the football and basketball teams, and this week, we've gone a bit national.

1.  This is a two-part question (i.e. trying to squeeze two questions into one).  1) Texas or Alabama?  2) After watching the Big 12 championship, who is the MVP of the Big 12 (no offensive or defensive, but overall)?

2.  Who deserves to win the Heisman?  This isn't who you think will win, but who you believe deserves to win.

3.  Valero Alamo Bowl . . . are you excited about the game, excited that you get to talk football for another month, or excited that this team gets another month of practice?

4.  If you're one of the Texas Tech fans that does not follow basketball, I'm just curious as to why (this is a selfish question and more curious than anything else)?

5.  If you have been following the basketball team for the past few seasons, is the athleticism the one thing that jump out at you as the biggest difference between the Bob Knight vs. Pat Knight teams or is it something else?

1. Alabama – they beat up a very good Florida team. MVP – Suh
2. Mark Ingram
3. all of the above
4. The team wasn’t very good after we made the Sweet 16. I think it’s time to start following again.
5. wouldn’t know

1. Bama…Suh is the MVP of the Big XII…changes games
2. Ingram, Spiller (Clemson)
3. Alamo Bowl…just glad we are playing, excited about the idea of more practice, not too excited about the game itself
4. I have never followed basketball except during March Madness…didn’t grow up watching it.

  1. Alabama, Jordan Shipley (I HATE that guy!)
  2. Toby Gerhart
  3. Yes x3
  4. N/A
  5. Yes, but Pat’s system also seems designed to utilize athleticism. Bob Knight had mostly unathletic players in an unathletic offense.

After all is said and done, more is said than done.

1. Bama. Most worthy. Suh, makes any game difficult, at any time.
2. TCU defense.
3. Just glad were playing, after a season of highs and lows..(very lows at that)…we can end it on a high note, and thats exciting for the players coming back for next season. You know, when we win the Big 12 and all.
4. Im a Tech basketball fan, but basketball fan in general Im not. I dont understand the fouls. As a matter of a fact, I dont even know half the meanings of the fouls called. I think all i know is traveling. But I attend the games because as a student, it’s my responsability to help out.
5. Athletic and raw talent, yes. but without Bobby Knight, we wouldnt have Jon Roberson.
I just think pat brings out the most in players. Like say, Roberson wanting to go to man defense in cruticial point in the game, Im not sure Bobby would have switched for a player’s suggestion. I really think the players want to play for Pat, not saying they didnt want to play for Mr. Knight, but I think it’s easier with someone to want to play hard for someone like Pat.

1. I would say Bama, but officials seem to have no shame in what they will to do to give a game to ut. I guess either Shipley or Suh. If I had to pick players who really carried their team. Although I think a healthy Sheffield would have been on this list.

2. Gerhart from Stanford or Ingram from Bama

3. Excited/disappointed/nervous. That pretty much describes the whole season. My brother in law is a msu grad so my father in law has promised an all expense paid trip to the game for our families. Excited about that. They seem to be a pretty undisciplined, which usually means dirty, team. I am kind of nervous about that. I am nervous the team is disappointed, as I am, because of not getting a better bowl and will let this one go like we did the Cotton bowl last year. And who is our quarterback going to be?

4. I am not a basketball fan in general, but I do watch Tech when I have the opportunity and have made it up to Lubbock for a few games.

5. I think Pat being a little more accomodating to the players allows us to get better talent. No disrespect to BK I think he is the best. I just think kids these days are not responding to his level of discipline. I think that is also a shame.

by Raider75 on Dec 7, 2009 8:03 AM CST reply actions

1. Alabama.. the only reason Texas won the Big 12 is because of Nebraska’s kicker and some really meh officiating. I think Alabama is going to embarrass Texas on national television, and its going to be great to watch. Or they win and make the Big 12 look good – either way, I think we win. I think Suh is the MVP of the Big 12. I can’t think of anyone who has a bigger impact on their team. McCoy is supposed to be a Heisman contender but just got mauled and thrown around like a little boy back there.

2. Heisman is awarded to the best player in the country, right? I haven’t watched enough non-Big 12 to see what all is out there, but I would say Suh is your guy from the Big 12, Ingram is your guy in the SEC. Maybe Case Keenum at QB. As I’ve said before, I don’t think McCoy is the best player on his own team.

3. Valero Alamo Bowl . . . all of the above. I think people are making a mistake writing off Michigan State – we did that last year with Ole Miss and they creamed us.

4. Mostly for the same reason I don’t follow professional basketball much until the playoffs. The season is too long, there’s too many games. Also, college has become increasingly talent-starved as anyone who is even kinda good makes their way to the NBA after a year or two, and anyone who would be REALLY good winds up in the NBA before they even get to college. I’ll watch the NCAA tournament.

1. Bama will likely beat UT. UT is down this year, whether anyone wants to admit it or not. You can’t take anything away from them because they still came out of the lockerroom with enough to win every game so far this year, but overall it was unimpressive. Suh is the best of the Big 12.
2. If Nebraska hadn’t kicked off out of bound Suh would be in New York receiving the Heisman, unfortunately you have to be on a winning team to get it so I see Ingram taking it home. He had a great game Saturday so it’s hard to be too upset.
3. I’m happy the guys get more practice and that they are rewarded with the Alamo Bowl. After the way the season looked at some points this season I questioned if we’d even end up bowl eligible. So considering 3 starting QBs later we are going to a better bowl that OU, I’m more than satisfied.
4. I have just never been a basketball fan. Never liked watching my high school team play… went to a couple games as a student at Tech and couldn’t really get into it… my boss and co-workers love the Mavs/NBA and I can’t get into that either even though I’ve tried it a couple times. The sport just doesn’t really do it for me I guess.

by jdeeTTU on Dec 7, 2009 8:17 AM CST reply actions

1. Bama. 2. Suh.
2. Stanford kid.
3. Practice. The game is one we should win and I’ll be there. But the practice is huge especially for the young ones. I worked for a school that played in and one two of 4 straight state championships. Those kids were getting 6 extra weeks of practice 4 years in a row. Huge. An aside, the freshmen who were called up for playoffs considering a few actually played a little, they had played 64 games in 4 years, imagine playing a team with seniors who had played and practiced essentially 6 1/2 years in the same system.
4. Casual fan until conference starts. Because football is just do much better, I watch everything I can until Superbowl.
5. I really can’t tell the difference.

1. Bama creames ut
2.——
3. Practice, Practice, Practice….. I think that being 8-4 (3 loses to top 25 teams by total of 18 pts. on the road!) is very good considering new Oline(underestimated last years), injuries, and QB issues like never before. Still a very young team and practice for the redshirt guys is huge, especially the thursday scrimmages! TTech needs a Cowboy Stadium crowd and Raiders win by 3 td’s and get ready for a run next year!
4.——
5. Much better athletes and it already shows!!!!!!

by techgolf44 on Dec 7, 2009 9:01 AM CST reply actions

1. Alabama, MVP = Suh
2.Ingram from Alabama or Suh.
3. I think the Alamo Bowl is perfect for us this year. We can mobilize our fanbase for a close bowl game! And we get another month of practice and one more game to try and be the team I know we can be (see OU game). This is the perfect bowl game for us to use as a start for a great 2010!
4. I do follow Tech basketball closely, and follow college basketball somewhat.
5. The athletes on this team currently are by far more athletic.

by rbiggers on Dec 7, 2009 9:05 AM CST reply actions

I’ll take a crack at #2 and #4.

Basketball first- I have a hard time with fans that switch on and off of teams based on performance. However, there are legitimate reasons to not not following a program that are better detailed in other posts. As for fair weather fans, I keep reminding myself that it is like a business. You have to have a product that people want to buy. That may excuse the low fan participation, but it is also everything that is wrong with sports. I stopped buying season tickets to the Texas Rangers because it became clear that they didn’t respect the loyal fans. They’d do anything to make the playoffs even if it meant hurting a loyal base. Teams are rewarded for doing this and that’s a cycle I don’t wish to participate in.

As for #2, I like Gerhart over Spiller solely because he was able to get Stanford into the Top 25. The Heisman is an individual award and team success should be downplayed, but your team does have to win with you on the field.

I think Tebow, McCoy, and Ingram have a better chance to win it (probably Ingram if individual performance means anything) solely because their teams played in conference championships and will play in BCS bowls. I hate the fact that the media only touts the players that are surrounded by great talent.

You should be able to win the Hiesman without playing in a conference championship, BCS bowl, or national TV every week.

by Quatroux on Dec 7, 2009 9:34 AM CST reply actions

1. Alabama. Suh.
2. Suh. He affects every game he is in. His one bad game was against Tech and he still wasn’t that bad. I’m not sure that Ingram is the best back on ’Bama’s team. McCoy is too inconsistent. Spiller’s good. It would be interesting to see how he would fare in the SEC or Big 12.
3. All 3. This team desperately needs more time together to gel, especially after a rough outing against Baylor. I, too, am worried about underestimating Michigan State. They are going to have quality at every position. No blowout. We weren’t a good come-from-behind team this year. If we get down to them early in the game, it could be a real nail-biter.
4. I do follow basketball. I grew up in Lubbock and it was hard to get excited about TTU b-ball because Myers was such a cold fish. He had good defensive teams which just weren’t that flashy. As such, the tradition on the b-ball program is lacking, but it is building.
5. The difference between B. Knight and P. Knight, to me, goes something like this: B. Knight inherited some reasonably talented recruits from James Dickey and had some good early results, because he knows how to squeeze every drop of performance out of a player. The problem is that a lot of today’s really good players don’t want a coach who is going to try to do that to them, so he suffered in recruiting, which meant that P. Knight inherited under-talented players. He has now had an opportunity to infuse a little more talent (even though Roberson and Singletary were already there) and apply his father’s know-how without his father’s attitude. Best of both worlds. Better recruiter than B. Knight. Better X’s and O’s than Dickey. Voila.

by Oklahoma Red Raider on Dec 7, 2009 9:44 AM CST reply actions

1 and 2 are covered already.
3. Excited to still be playing. Also, I want that last ‘W’ in the column. I was really, really hoping to squeak out a 10 win season with a bowl win (curse you Houston game!).
4. Here’s my tangent. I grew up playing basketball all of my life. Even when I was playing, I still didn’t watch much basketball on TV but instead was a heavy football fan. I guess it’s like baseball in the fact that you could loose to the same team 3-4 times during the regular season and it really wouldn’t matter other than you’d get a lower seed in the tournament (if you get to go at all.) Maybe if we were a top 10 team playing another top 10 team it would be more exciting, but since a loss really isn’t incredibly detrimental until tourney time it’s hard to get involved for me (regardless of whether it’s Tech or not.) I watched when we went to the sweet 16 a few years back, but that’s about it. However, EVERY game is important in football. You only get one chance and a late season loss can completely change your entire year with one game (see last year.) That’s just my opinion at least.
5. For reason 5 above, I’ll have to answer N/A.

1. Bama without a doubt. MVP – Ingram
2. Mark Ingram
3. Excited it’s in SA and not El Paso. Game match up is too weak for my taste but I’ll be there.
4. I’m not in the know about BB. Played 1 year in HS and sucked. Love seeing these guys play. Incredible athletes play BB with some of the best hand/eye coordination displayed.
5. Love Pat Knight’s coaching style. I think Tech has real winner here and will surprise a great deal of folks that think he’s just there in his dad’s shadow. Pat’s players seem to be more energetic and passonate about the game. Maybe their actually having fun and that’s why they are winning. Congrats to Pat Knight thus far!

3. Eh, whatever. Excited about ‘10.

5. The team seems more sure of themselves. Less worried about having a chair thrown at them for a missed assignment. BK’s approach is simply antiquated.

1. Alabama looks to be peaking, Texas did not look good vs Nebraska. 2) I have not seen every team play, but from what I can tell, I would give Big12 MVP to McCoy at Texas.

2. The Heisman does not stir me.

3. You bet I am excited. An opportunity to play a good team from the Big10 ?? You betch’em Red Ryder. Alamo Bowl is a great venue for traveling football fans. This win is important, for both teams and for the same reasons.

4. I follow both men’s and women’s basketball, the games are similar but different, both are fun.

5. For me, it is good to see the men’s basketball program become one more about the players and less about the coach in the media.

That they have been playing better basketball in terms of team basketball is difficult to differentiate. I don’t have enough data to compare the two coaches, Coach Pat is starting is second full season as a Head Coach, his predecessor finished an incedible career. I think Bob Knight made it as difficult to play well as Pat Knight makes it easy to play for a coach…it may be easier to simply go out and ‘play’ basketball rather than worry about making mistakes—that worry can lead to hesitancy.

This year’s team does appear more athletic and better basketball players as a group. They also seem to play better team basketball. I am not a fan of the concept of riding the shoulders of one player to success, Andre Emmet or Ross or Jackson or whomever.

by TallMike on Dec 7, 2009 9:52 AM CST reply actions

I stopped watching basketball regularly after Tech (Gerald Myers) fired James Dickey

I saw it nothing more than Gerald Myers getting revenge on Dickey taking Myers job after he got fired. All so Myers could bring in his buddy Bob Knight. Dickey started losing games only because of the boneheads that didn’t know the rules caused academic sanctions that stripped us of valuable scholarships. Why punish Dickey? It’s a very bitter matter for me.

1. UT wins due to Bama secondary. Big12 MVP is Suh and IMO it’s not close. Take him off Neb and they don’t make the championship game. Take McCoy off UT, they still have a chance to rep the South.
2. Heisman popularity contest is a joke b/c they don’t truely identify the best college player. But if I had a vote, I’d go with Misoli (sp?) the QB from Oregon.
3. I’m excited and working on details to make the trip.

1. Alabama – Suh

2. Gerhart

3. Great to be playing in Texas. Helps with recruiting the Texas boys.

4. RR basketball piqued my interest with the sweet sixteen appearance and I began to attend a couple of games every year. Have followed intently ever since and have been amazed at the athleticism of the players. Sitting four rows behind the goal gives you a perspective unattainable from watching television.

5. This is one of the more athletic teams the Red Raiders have fielded since I have been following them. Pat Knights up tempo style of play is going to be successful with this team. I look for the Red Raiders to make the “Big Dance” come March.

by faunchin on Dec 7, 2009 11:06 AM CST reply actions

1. Alabama. Mr. Suh is the MVP. Nebraska wins 4 games without him. Maybe.

2. Toby Gerhart deserves the Heisman.

3. Love the extra month of practice and the pro-Tech crowd that should be there.

4. I follow Tech basketball almost as religiously as Tech football. The biggest difference isn’t the ability level. It’s the supports. If basketball games had more crowds like the Washington game, this team could get into the Tournament.

5. Athleticism for sure, but also the lack of motion offense. Pat has more set plays where guys can ad-lib. Bob (feels weird to call him that) hardly ever let players create their own shots. Over his last few years here, the General really kept the leash tight.

How many Biletnikoffs does he have? NOT TWO!

by ak2themax on Dec 7, 2009 11:13 AM CST reply actions

1. Bama not as good or UT as bad as people think based on last couple of games. I think UT wins.
2. Appreciate the thought for Spiller; would like to say Suh but where was he when Neb played Tech? Oh, yeah opposite a great offensive lineman! Heisman will go to Ingram, continuing the recent trend of Heisman’s to team other than National Champ.
3. Love to be in Alamo Bowl; BUT WIN THIS TIME!
4. I love Tech basketball, from Jerry Haggard, to Norm Ruether, Bobby Measels, Jeff Huston, Bubba, Chicken Little, Jason Sasser…; the guys on the current team are unbelievable. If I were in little “L”, I’d be at every game.
5. The guys on the team now have self-control, not out of fear but because they get it. They make the plays, but seem very calculated on when to go for it. Pat may be the find of a lifetime.

1. Texas is under performing right now. The hype will catch up to Alabama. I look for the teams to be evenly matched and like some have said earlier – a big play to break it open in the second half. It would not surprise me at all if texas was trailing 10 to 3 at half time. N.Sabin probably out coaches Mack, but a break at the end hands texas a shot – not necessarily the win at the end. Ok ut wins. Mr. Suh is the MVP – his performance made him a nice signing bonus in the NFL.
2. The Running back from Stanford Gerhardt (sp?). Colt simply had too much underserved hype. He’s an average QB with a fine supporting cast and well paid assistant coaches getting all the pieces to perform. Wait I just described a good football team.
3. Yes I am excited to be going to the Alamo Bowl. It’s great for Raider fans to mob another stadium. IMO the Raiders pulled out a derailed season. Since the UH loss almost put the Raiders in tail spin. Discounting our bad game versus aTm. Hell it was bad game. The 09 season was quite the performance – 9 x major injuries, multiple player shifts a rebuilt yet good secondary. Overall quite the resilient performance by Leach and his staff. The extra practice will pay big dividends and like my fellow bloggers I really want a capper performance and a 9 x win season heading into 2010.
4. Follow them pretty well okay sort of, well No I don’t tune into the radio when they aren’t on TV. I admit until this year I liked the Women’s B ball team style of play better. That being said Go Raiders I am a fan. Agree Pat Knight is starting to look like just what the doctor ordered.
5. Tough to tell. Watching Washington game it looked like the conditioning was superior so taking a chance yeah Tech athleticism is improving.

1) I would like to see Bama win, but everytime I root against Texas they find some way to win the game (via a BS ref call, nailbiter field goal, or opponent does something stupid to lose the game i.e. USC vs. Texas in ‘05). I am not a Texas hater, but I just don’t think Texas deserves a title shot playing in the weak Big 12 and not winning convincingly (not enough style points).
2) Love to see Gearhart win, but it’s Ingram’s to lose.
3) I’m always excited to see Tech in a bowl—I was at Tech the year they went 6-5 and went to the Cotton Bowl to get thrashed by USC. Bowls didn’t come often when I was a student. I just hope they prepare well and think about the potential for next season.
4) I just don’t watch college hoops in general…don’t even follow the tournament. I think there are too many games to keep up with. Also, the good players play one season and there gone after one year. In regards to Tech, I followed them as a student very closely when the team beat UNC and went to the sweet 16. I think consistent winning and more of a defined rival would make me more interested to follow.

1. Bama – i have no reason to root for texas whatsoever, in any bowl or sport. i don’t care if they are in the big 12 or not. they beat us in virtually everything, every year. so why would anyone want them to win? If they win it will have nothing to do with texas tech or the big 12. its irrelevant for OUR school. i have never understood how anyone from tech, unless you have some affiliation with texas, could ever want them to win. they could be an underdog by 60 points and i hope they lose by 61.
2. Gearhart or Suh – both are deserving. but, McCoy will win because its garbage. im still cant get over what those guys did to Harrell last year by not inviting him.
3. i guess. i mean were playing a 6-6 team from a crappy big x. yes crappy, iowa is not good. ohio state remains to be ohio state. get iowa state in that conf. and bring TCU into the big 12 already. those guys got robbed.
4. i was a freshman in 01’ and was lucky to see a lot of good basketball during my stent in college. knights first year, emmitt, ellis, marshal, ross, zeno, great overtime thrillers, and knocking of the zags in the tourney. to be honest, i havent been concerned with tech hoops since i graduated. terrible i know.

The Big 12 shares to money that is received from bowl games… Texas goes to NCG… they get X-amount of $$ … that is sent to the conference and split 12 ways…. not totally evenly, but 12 ways… Texas WINS the NCG…. they get X-amount PLUS more for winning… that is sent to the conference and is split 12 ways…

Texas wins NCG… TTU gets more $$$… SO….

If they win it will have nothing to do with texas tech or the big 12. its irrelevant for OUR school.

I just wanted to let everyone know that Tech has broken into the AP Basketball poll at #23 this week and barely sits outside the coaches at #26.

I know its still early and a loss or two in December will get us booted out again, but it is nice to see the Basketball team get a little recognition after the big win last week.

by pcrawttu on Dec 7, 2009 2:28 PM CST reply actions

I’ll leave questions 1-3 for the die hard football fans. I like Tech football, but prefer men’s basketball (I’m originally from Indiana).

4. I’ve finally become a season ticket holder, so I attend every home game I can.

5. It’s a combination of several things, the main ones being:
Coaching Style – Pat has a personality that the players prefer, as compared to Bob Knight. I agree with the comment above that he will consider an experienced player’s remarks. The neat thing is that John R. felt confident to even make a remark. I don’t believe he would have done that to the elder Coach Knight.
Talent with athleticism – These players are athletic and know how to use their abilities. Tech has several good players this year. They substitute alot, and can play a full game (40 minutes, not 25 minutes). Confidence also comes into play. No matter what five are playing, they play well together.
Knowing what to expect – from the opposition and themselves. That comes from experience. The players are beginning to know each other’s abilities, and play to those abilities. They also know that good teams don’t quit playing, so they don’t quit playing.
A more experienced coach – it takes a coach a while to know the players and also to gain confidence in his own decision making. It’s a learning curve for everyone, including the coach. Coach Knight has made some good player personnel decisions this year, going smaller and quicker, or taller when needed.

it was the same for football, but on a faster time line… My high school in northern virginia didn’t win a single football game my senior year… coming to texas, i got to see real football… after the first 4 games and being in the goin’ band i was PUMPED for every game… i started really following it by my second year and ever since my second year… the off-seasons SUCK!!!!!!!

1a. Bama for sure
1b. Shipley (as bad as I hate to say it)
2. Shipley…….. and I HATE UT, but without him, they are barely in a bowl this year.
3. Alamo bowl gets me excited only because it gets this team another month of practice, and another big venue experience for the youngsters. Have them ready to represent on the big stage next year. Plus… I can think of worse places than the Riverwalk to spend New Years.
4. I follow BBall pretty closely, although I dont get to attend as many games as I would like due to a heavy work/school schedule.
5. Yes the athleticism definitely stands out this year, especially in person. More than though, this team seems to be playing with a level of determination I have never seen from a Tech basketball club.

1. Bama looked great. I have to think they win, but I certainly expect Texas to play well.
1b. I think that Mr. McCoy is the MVP. We know what happened to us when Mr. Sheffield got hurt. I don’t think Texas beats Nebraska or Texas A&M without Mr. McCoy. I know that if Mr. Suh were not able to play, the Nebraska defense wouldn’t be the same, but it would still be very good. Take either one of them. You can’t go wrong.
2. I saw Mr. Ingram take over a game against the #1 team in the country. I saw Mr. Gerhart take over a game against a 6&5 team. This Notre Dame team was famous for great offense and bad defense. I think Mr. Ingram will win, and I can’t argue with this call. I will point out that Mr. McCoy was being “thrown like a rag doll” (to quote one of the comments above) but he didn’t fumble, didn’t get rattled and still won the game. I should point out that Mr. Shipley was the only receiver who played well for Texas. Mr. McCoy was behind a beaten and demoralized line, dealt with underachieving receivers, must have been feeling many of the hits, and he still led the team to a victory.
3. I am glad the team gets another chance to put things together.
4. I am a Texas Tech fan because Mr. Knight got hired.
5. I can not speak to this because I can’t watch the games. There was a lot of slander of the former coach. I can tell you that I have many times watched his teams play with abandon, within the guidelines he maintains. I don’t buy any of this er, ah, I better not name it, that he can’t coach well anymore. He should take a job at Eastern Illinois, Western Michigan, or some school like that for the following reasons.
     1. They are an easy drive from my house.
     2. They are not in the state of Indiana (which doesn’t deserve him.)
     3. From such a school, he can recruit the guts out of Indiana. There are many here who think he is great.
     4. He wouldn’t be at the mercy of the AAU teams.

Respectfully,

Paul M. Simons

Sheffield saved the season!

Well I don’t see it happening but I think Sheffield deserves to play in this bowl. They way he played against Ok St showed so much. He would of finished the game if he was allowed to. Think of where this season would of ended up if Sheffield doesn’t win the New Mexico game, three straight losses and the third one coming from NEW MEXICO!!! This season could of so easily fell apart!

1.Alabama by 100, Donkeykong Suh ( can’t spell his First name)

2. For the 1st time ever, Mr. Suh, I have never seen a D-lineman dominate a football game like he has. Relentless, atheletic, physical, and smart. Combine those attributes w/ 6’4" and 300 lbs. The bonus is he does it every game, just never quits.

3. I’ve traveled to Texas all season long, 1 time to Neb and once to OK. I don’t care where we play I’ll be there.

4. I live in Kansas, I pull for Texas Tech in football, KU in basketball, and Wichita State in baseball.

5. What I have watched is there street abilities, slashing, banging and street attitude. All the reasons I love structure and disipline, you know what it takes to win NCAA championships and have a consistant program.

1. Texas and Suh (yes, I’m a conference homer, although I don’t think Texas has a chance, hopefully they prove me wrong)
2. Suh or that kid from Stanford……
3. I’m excited that we are getting a bowl game again. Excited that the time between our last game and spring training is shorter than normal……
4. I was one of those fans that didn’t follow until March. Not so much anymore. Wreck Em!!
5. I followed during Bobby’s 2005 season and thought they where really well coached, obviously. There is something different but I’m not sure what…
