SI shows 23 in AP and 18 in RPI poll.

Also SI has a one-on-one interview, Jason King with Mike Singletary. They talk about everything from the Washington win to the wind in Lubbock.

Speaking of the wind…. today was a rough day to be a student. Dreading what the actual winter will be like this winter!

Ahhhhhhhh……….nothing like a brisk, breezy west Texas day……….

It's ten till 4,

and only 25 degrees out and snowed a bit this morning. Highest temp ive seen all day too! It’s beyond “brisk” in my opinion.

haha ive been waiting on a change for a week now. Watch, knowing my luck, when I go home for the holidays it will be 70s here and freezing in central Texas.

Eh.. I'll pass.

I’m praying for decent weather over the Holidays though, I’m spending my time at home rebuilding a barn and breaking as many horses as possible. Nothing like getting thrown in the cold.

I can break a horse without breaking my bones

you just put a foam racing saddle on them young, lead them around, put a kid on them while young, treat the thing like a show steer, or a pet, if they’re too wild for this treatment, sell the bastard. Cause they’ll break your leg and you’ll shoot them and have to explain to the volunteer fire department ambulance drivers why there’s a dead horse laying next to Daddy and his 44 magnum. Oh, I’m sorry, we were talking about sane families.

Ha im with ya on that! My mom and her new BF just bought a bunch of two year olds with no training. I feel some soreness coming on to say the least. Especially since two are Arabians…. I hate arabians. They’re evil.

Been farming in it my entire life.....

Pretty much the entire Floyd County and a lot around Midland. It’s not real bad if you prepare for it. Layers my friend and lots of them. I ride my bike to work everyday no matter what the weather.
