Texas Tech Baseball - POLL

There's a great new site on the BON family of blogs called Big XII Hardball, and I will contribute some Tech baseball info there for the editor.

But what is the overall interest in Tech baseball by you guys. I can certainly double post if people want to read about it here. If not, then just head over to Big XII HB for some great content on the Big XII conference, which happens to be one of the strongest conferences in college baseball. Currently, Texas, Baylor, Missouri, Texas A&M and Oklahoma State are in the Baseball America pre-season Top 25.

For those who may not follow the team closely, Tech is expected to have another rough year but there is some bright young talent and a fantastic new coach (Dan Spencer) who is a top-shelf pitching coach and recruiter. He was named the 2007  Collegiate Baseball Magazine National College Pitching Coach of the Year in his first year as an associate head coach at Tech. This will be his first year as the head man at Tech.

yes

I am actually a Longhorn. I spend most of my free time on a Tech board because it’s fun to ruffle the feathers of people like 10forTech. In fact, I recently quit my job so I could spend even more time over here posting stuff. Of course, now that I’ve been discovered I will need to come up with another handle so I can continue to pretend I’m a Tech fan and alum.

Absurd…

HA!!! Man, it’s been a long day. We had a baby girl three weeks ago and my brain is quite literally mush.
