Around SBN: Kobe Bryant Isn't Up To Speed On Jeremy Lin, 'Linning'

Thursday Night Highlights (via JYJATJ)

Seth C: hat-tip Tortilla Retort, and yes, this is a Harrison Jeffers highlight film. I can't really tell who's who in the film, other than Fehoko (who looks to be too aggressive and commits too early) and a safety that looked okay, I'm guessing it is Cody Davis.

I can’t wait for Fall. It looks like we may be running a bit more from center.

After all is said and done, more is said than done.

WOW

All I can say is I am very impressed with this highlight video. Jeffers looks like a very determined runner with great speed, maybe like a smaller, faster, and quicker Baron Batch. I cannot remember a time when Tech had SO much depth at running back. I really hope he gets a lot of playing time next year and is the backup to Batch. He is exciting to watch, and I wouldn’t mind seeing us run the ball a LOT next year.

It's a thing of beauty!

If this kid can pick up the blitz, oh man! We will have reached a new level of offensive balance.

“Batch” Cassidy and the “Jeffers” Kid!

Holy Cow!!!

Jeffers seems to stop and start on a dime, juking the defense out of their collective jocks. If he and Batch remain healthy throughout the year, this offense just got even more scarier. It is taking on the look of a much more balanced, true “run & shoot” type offense. I saw that Potts is running the offense very well, also. Anyone that was unaware of Jeffers is going to be indoctrinated big time this year. Thrown in Batch with his gifts and the defenses are going to be shadow tackling a whole lot as one or the other scampers downfield on another big gain. Now, are other defenses capable of stopping the run as we see it shown here? Only time will tell. But, all in all, this is shaping up to be one GREAT! year…..

Are you sure

This is only a highlight of Jeffers? I noticed that in some of these plays he is wearing #26 and others he is wearing #10. I was wondering if maybe these are two different players?

Jeffers’ number on the roster is #26, and #10 was D. Charbonnet and Garrett Riley. I can’t be 100% sure, but I’m pretty sure that was just Jeffers.

It does look like #10 on a few carries.

I’m still pretty sure that #10 is Jeffers. I get the feeling that someone from his family put this together.

Looks like a few standard plays to keep things honest. I think that would be huge. Give the other guy just one more thing to practice against.

One thing....

All these plays are from one night’s practice…the defense looks to still be a liability unless they were rotating a ton of new guys in. Sure, it’s a tough offense…but wow, big chunks of yards given up. It is just practice, though.

While it looks bad...

Harrison’s brother put the video up there and he has said that these are only the good clips. Along with that he mentioned that there was several times where Harrison was bottled up for no gain

That isn’t saying anything bad about HJ, it just means the D-Line had gotten penetration.

McNeil says

Jeffers is the real deal. I have read several articles where Ruffin McNeil says that Jeffers is a great running back. This video of Jeffers highlights shows why McNeil is showing Jeffers the love. Can’t wait for the spring game. Wrech’em Tech!
