Ramos and Bettis are pretty damned good. Granted, the UT offense hasn't been lighting it up, but it sure does feel nice to get a win (recap). Senior AJ Ramos (6.0 IP; 6 H; 2 R; 2 ER; 2 BB; 5 SO) earned a huge win on Saturday while sophomore Chad Bettis (3.0 IP; 1 H; 1 R; 1 BB; 0 SO) was tremendous in relief, earned his third save of the season. Chris Richburg (1-3; 3 RBI; 1 HR) put Texas Tech up for good in the 3rd inning. More young guys stepped up as well, freshman right fielder Garrett Totten (1-3) doubled in the 4th inning and sophomore catcher Jeremy Mayo (1-4; 1 RBI) singled to score Totten.

I have no idea who starts for Texas Tech to finish the game, and perhaps that if the game is close, Bettis can go again, although I highly doubt that he'd pitch in back-to-back games. We're probably looking at a combination of Nate Karns, Cory Large and Brian Cloud getting the call today.
