From the Lubbock AJ online Texas Tech sports page:
"Coach Pat Knight has signed another recruit to a National Letter of Intent. The newest Texas Tech player is from Temple Hills, Maryland.
"David Tairu, a 6-foot-1, 180-pound guard from South Plains College in Levelland, Texas, will enter Texas Tech next season as a junior. David averaged 17.5 points and 4.4 rebounds per game in his sophomore season. He played 24 minutes per game, was the leading scorer for the Texans, and registered a season-high of 29 points."'
More to read at the site, but this seems to make it official. Now, if only PK can entice a really good BIG man of the 7-foot range to commit, this could e an amazing class.
