Sign of the times?

I decided to sort draftees by team to see exactly what guys got drafted from Tech and had an idea.  I went through and pulled down every Big 12 team to see how many each had drafted this year.  Here's the breakdown:

Missouri - 5
Oklahoma - 4
Tech - 4
UT - 2
A&M - 2
Nebraska - 1
Oklahoma State - 1
Kansas St - 1
Baylor - 1
Kansas - 0
Colorado - 0
Iowa St - 0

Not really surprised at the bottom teams aside from the spectacular fall from greatness Nebraska has suffered.  More interesting is the top 5.  Tech having twice as many draftees as UT and the same number of OU?  Unheard of.  Although these never predict success in the NFL, it is a nice indication of the upward trend of Tech football.  Let's keep it going.

Good work putting that list together. I thought OU had more, so its kind of crazy they only had 4. Then you have to remember that their defense is returning 9 next year. The scary thing is that OU has plenty of guys that could’ve been drafted this year or will definitely be drafted in the future…Bradford, Gresham, McCoy, their RB’s, etc., among plenty of others I’m sure.

UT had 4 drafted.

Brian Orakpo, Roy Miller, Henry Melton, and Chris Ogbonnaya.

Cedric Dockerty signed in Free Agency and Quan is expected too as well.

Missouri had 6 drafted
OU had 5 drafted

Thanks Yahoo

Cool sorting function? Yes. Accurate? Apparently not. Thanks for the corrections.

Despite the inaccurate information, Tech is still in much better company than they have been in the past.

McBath

Is listed as a CB, not as a S. Also, Shannon Woods not even mentioned.
