Harrell Signs with Carolina
After going undrafted, QB Graham Harrell has signed a preferred free agent contract tonight with the Carolina Panthers. Not sure what other options he had, but he's going to have a chance to earn a spot behind Jake Delhomme, Josh McCown and Matt Moore. Good luck, Mr. Harrell!!

I’ll ne eagerly awaiting the “why” for this move. I wonder who else offered. They ARE a decent little team though if he has a chance to make the squad. Delhomme it on decline and IR material. Moore is salty though. Upset the Cowboys let him get away through the risky waivers to practice squad gamble.
Nice
I can definetely see Harrell making a push to become the starter in Carolina one day. Like Plano Jeff said, Delhomme is fading and the others are either below average or haven’t really done anything in the NFL, though I know Moore did well during the preseason on the Cowboys whenever they had him. He can even get his signature number 6!
My reply on the lubbockonline.com site says it all so
I will not repeat (see: Silverpilk). This is a good group and I hope they all make it in the NFL, as well as those that we haven’t heard about. Amazing, the how the NFL has lost a lot of credibility with me and , I hope, with many, if not all, other Raider fans.

…mud on your face, big disgrace…looks like I have bad info. I thought it said Carolina (and I got excited), but it will likely be Cleveland.
Was about to post that, he will be in Cleveland for a Mini-Camp on Thursday
Good spot for him, Mangini is not liking Quinn or Anderson and they did not draft a QB.
Guys
whatever you do, do not post premium material. I know we’re all just wanting to know what’s going on, but I can get into some serious trouble if this keeps happening.

Not posting premium stuff…saw that on the NE Draft site (free) and ran with it without verifying. Maybe that’s why I’m not a reporter : )
Seth emailed me…thought is was aimed at me since I started this boondoggle thread by jumping the gun (shark??). Thanks!
I feel like I'm sitting at the kiddie table here
But don’t want to know bad enough to actually have to contribute. Anyway, I’ve always wondered, if my bought and paid for itunes know not to let themselves be downloaded to another computer, howcome a pay sight can’t restrict a cut and paste job from its premium content?
Although I've never read the
disclaimer that you probably check the box when you sign up, but I’d imagine that one of the stipulations is that you won’t disseminate any information obtained through those sites. As far as the mechanics, if they posted the item as a .jpg or something like that, you can still copy and paste the picture, hosting it yourself, etc. I don’t know that there’s any way to really restrict information, just like the WSJ, although the attempt is made.

yep
I figure it’s like one of those arbitration clauses they used to have for software, where
by “opening this package” you agree to the terms and conditions and if you want to dispute the contract, you have to fly yourself out to California to arbitrate over a $100 contract. I’d bet there is such language on the pay site’s agreement. With all the pay sites for information out there, bet there will come a tipping point on the horizon where the pay sites will go all “Napster” on the cheaters.
Harrell may fair the best...
among all the QB’s selected. Carolina is a good fit for him and he actually will be able to make some noise with what they have now in place. He’s a hard worker and we all know his capabilities. Plenty of NFL starting QB’s went undrafted. I see this as a good team for him and a place where he has a chance to showcase his talents.
