Great timing, Seth. I was googling this to see if he landed a deal after the tryout. Sort of bummed they didn’t add him to the roster. Yeah, maybe it will work out in Cle down the road but to not be offered a deal is a let down.

Maybe someone else will get him before training camps open. Wish the kid well…this has to be a tough deal for him.

I'd love to see him get a shot in Seattle.

Just seems like with Hasselbeck getting older, this may be a good spot for him.

Seattle Would be Interesting

He would play against Crabs twice a year – same conference.

If Seattle is one option, then what was the other? If not, what are the other two teams that expressed interest?

Wonderlick Scores

This is probably apropos of very little, but here are the 2009 Combine Wonderlick scores. I was a little surprised at some of the numbers here.

Harrell

Did not answer but 25, but missed only one, 96@ rate. I am not sure, but just making a quick glance, it appears not many, if any, had as much as 70% correct, regardless of number of answered questions. Now, personally, I really don’t see what this test has to do with football sense, but if I am a coach, the % of correct/answered should be high for the more intelligent. That makes Mr. Harrell the most intelligent and most decisive of them all. Hats off for finding this, Tech92. Very interesting stuff.

That first score was at the Senior Bowl. At the combine he was 23/30 (76%). The test doesn’t have anything to do with football, but it does test how well quickly you process information and how quickly you can accurately think. His percent was higher, but his numbers were lower. I’m guessing this had zero to do with anything draft related.

The average for QBs at the combine was 26/40 (65%).
