Around SBN: Kobe Bryant Isn't Up To Speed On Jeremy Lin, 'Linning'

Isn't it funny how the hometown paper's headline makes it sound like Kindle was just standing there while the car drove itself into the apartment building in question? LOL!

I like how

the first and last comment on there, right now, mention a hangover not being a concussion

At least someone else sees this for the coverup it is.

Sad

but true, some of the comments at the listed site. This is not the first, nor will it be the last story of a Longhorn breaking the law and getting off scott-free. I am not sure exactly how many cases involving a UT player and the police, have taken place over the last 15 years, but it would be accurate to say most have been exonerated somehow.

Scouting Report on Kindle

“He is able to shed the first hit and doesn’t get caught up in traffic.”

I guess that applies to his driving also. :)

And we have a winner. If we are going to have a comments hall of fame, this one has to be in there. Well played Porters, well played my friend.

Gotta Love...

How on the boards all over the net ‘horns fans are just blowing this off with the ole ’this could have easily happened at any other univ’ talk. The dude got drunk, smashed into a building, and then was spotted pushing his car down the road with friends before abandoning it. HOW are there no charges being put on this guy??? A year ago he was already arrested for driving while intoxicated! This whole thing just makes me sick, I really hope the media decides to stick to this one… I know I saw a story about it on College Football Live yesterday… I just hope it doesnt get swept under the rug like it looks like they are trying to do.

compleatly un-related to the football part of this...

it reads in the article:

Ashley Zapata, 21, who lives in the apartment, said she wasn’t home at the time but got a call about 2 a.m. Wednesday from a friend who told her what had happened. The car drove partly into her bedroom, destroying furniture, her iPhone, a computer and a computer printer, Zapata said. She does not have renters’ insurance, she said.

she got a call at 2am…. but the wreck destroyed her iPhone… why would you have an iPhone and not use it?
