Harrell Lands in Canada
Well, after months of wondering where Graham Harrell would end up, there is a happy ending. He has signed a contract with the CFL's Riders. Here's to hoping this is the start of his journey to the NFL. There are currently five QBs on the Roughrider roster, and all five will be kept. The competition for the starting job does not look particularly daunting, though I'm not a CFL expert. Good luck, Mr. Harrell!!

This is great news! After hearing about his dad having MS, you really had to feel for Graham having to go thru such a tough time. He deserves this and I’m sure Eric Morris is excited as well since he is there already. Eric said on Tech Talk today that the Riders are the most popular team in the CFL. All of their games are sold out and they have alot of fans at their away games as well.
Side Note: On Tech Talk today they said that Myles Wade showed up to Tech weighing 340 lbs and looking like he is solid muscle. The coaches are very excited.
riders are also one of the worst teams in the league. Makes their 2-0 start more impressive.
You can watch them play, 2:00 on Saturday, if you have AT&T, are on campus, or have another ISP that provides you with ESPN360. Go here:

I would put up a gameday thread just to entertain us during the dolldrums of summer, but i’m going to be out of town this weekend. Graham won’t be playing for a bit, though I expect that he’s the most talented of the qb’s on the team.
any predictions on how long it will take him to move from the CFL to the NFL?
if he indeed does make that transition.
2 years? 3 years? 4 years?
This might be a good idea for a poll on the front page.
this same team has produced 3 nfl pro bowl qbs
forgot the names but i know kurt warner was one of them

kurt warner, warren moon, doug flutie?
heh, I think when we first started talking about Harrell to the CFL, those were the only 3 qb’s to go and come back.
Warner wasn't in Canada
He was AFL in 1995-97 before being signed by the Rams in 1998, when he was sent to NFL Europe for a year.

Here's an article regarding CFL players who made it in NFL

Joe Thesimann, Jeff Garcia and Joe Kapp are some other QBs besides Moon and Flutie who played in both leagues.
