At the NFL Rookie Symposium in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., 49ers rookie WR Michael Crabtree told CBSSports.com in an exclusive interview that the foot he had a stress fracture in back in February won't keep him from being ready for the start of training camp. "The foot is great," Crabtree said when asked how his offseason has been. "I'm ready. I'm running and everything."

Crabs
I think he is ready now, but wants to be sure before actual pass-catching (although, I’ll bet he is snagging a few in private sessions with someone). He may be a rookie, but I don’t think the NFL will take him as seriously as they should, kinda like his freshman season at Tech, in the first half of the season. The second half will be much tougher, but we know how he responds to pressure. I think Crabs could snag over 80 passes and score at least 14 touchdowns this year. He is that good. From there, who knows? He has the ability to be one of the, if not the best players in the history of the NFL. But to do so, he has to stay healthy, and the 9’rs really need to get the ball to him….a lot.
