Danny Amendola Update

Note sure if this was posted by Seth or his readers, but here is a nice read on our good friend Danny Amendola. Worth checking out. The quote in the article might give him hope:

"Amendola has indeed been impressive in the beginning of this 2009 training camp. He has shown a quickness and shiftiness that is often hard to find, and has also proved to be willing to do whatever the coaches ask him to do, including being the only return man for both punt and kickoff returns here at camp so far."

Of course, he has some stiff competition.  Amd, you know Hank Baskett will have some pep in his step after getting married to a Playboy bunny!

Amendola

Has a great chance to be a difference maker in the NFL, similar to Wes Welker. They have differences, but the results can be very similar. From his Jr to his Sr year in college he improved a lot. It appears he has taken another step forward. If the Eagles do keep him and utilize his abilities, they will be very dangerous because of the added weaponry. So, he can have as good a career as the one Welker has been able to have once he moved over to NE. Now, if only Crabs would yank his head out of a dark place and sign the dotted line in SF, we will have three great NFL receivers as exciting ambassadors for Texas Tech football.

Thanks for Posting Techprez

I really hope Dola makes it – not only for his own sake but for recruiting. Like TTpilk points out, three NFL receivers is VERY good for the Tech program.
