Baron Batch Injured
I sure hope this is not serious. Right now Aaron Crawford is hurt as well, so I guess Harrison Jeffers and Eric Stephens will have to get the job done...for now at least. Baron suffered a ruptured achilles in '06, his freshman year. He finally got back on the field in '08 and proved he was as talented as scouts had said when he was coming out of high school.

Left Arm
Not to discount any injury but I don’t see this as serious as an ankle or knee injury which usually stables a running back for a good portion of a season if not all of it. I would bet he’s back on the field by the first game. I’m not sure what arm he carries the ball in but that would be the only concern. Get better Byron, we need you in September more than ever!
my bad...
you’re correct. Baron!!! although I do see similarities. Of course this guy keeps an eye on his GPA.
Totally agree
I love that video. Baron Batch is a great person who really has his head on straight. He sets a great example for everyone around him.
The article
I read said he was favoring his left forearm or elbow maybe…. which in the case of an injury is pretty much ideal I suppose. The video TT4EVER just posted shows he is a right hand carrier. This is all speculation of course since Leach doesn’t release injury info.
According to his facebook status, Batch seems to be in good spirits considering whatever condition he is in. He has a lot of faith, as we all know, and he seems to be looking at this as yet another challenge to overcome. It’s unfortunate on so many levels, but he’ll get through it.
Harrison Jeffers wrote in a facebook status that the rep should have been his but Batch ran it instead, and he sounds really down about the whole thing.
After all is said and done, more is said than done.
I hope so..
because from what I have heard he was in pretty bad shape when it actually went down. Lets hope that this does not become a huge deal.
Leach said, “to my knowledge he doesn’t have one (injury)”. Very telling, I think.

Leach isn’t going to give any indication of an injury due to his no disclosure on injuries policy. It’s what he believes is best for the team.
you dont think its the Cap’n’s way of tellin Baron to suck it up?

It’s looking like he’ll be out for 3-6 weeks, according to ESPN and a couple of sources.
