I noticed on the first quarter thread that many Red Raiders watch the tv with the sound off
I have been preaching that to the Bruins Nation for years. There is nothing quite as annoying as a pontificating blowhard who says something that is obvious if you have your eyes open. “Well, Jim, that pass was incomplete, and the receiver was wide open.” Well, maybe when the blowhard is just simply wrong.
Question – was that the poor, sick Adam that was given some quick air time? I’m surprised he isn’t in an iron lung, acting as an inspiration to all his teammates.
I think he is going to fly in a aluminum foil balloon for the halftime show.

No TV announcer can say anything you can't figure out for yourself.
I recommend turning the volume down rather than using the mute button, so you don’t have to read the words.

Here comes the half-time attack on Leach with the Affidavits they forced the Physician to sign yesterday and the one the Trainer signed on Dec 21st (under pressure they would be fired or could lose their license..no doubt.
The trainer’s affidavit contradicts statements he made to ESPN in an interview.

I have Double 104.3 going on the TV, but had to turn on ESPN radio to hear this God-awful commentary.

Leach has the trainer and doctor's original statements.
Doesn’t the fact that they’ve basically reversed their comments basically make their information useless anyway?

Notice that he said “That’s absurd.” He did not deny saying it. Just that it’s absurd. Or to put it another way, “I don’t think they can prove I said it, but I’m not going to deny it, I’ll just say it was absurd.” Just like it would be absurd for someone to take money and a car for playing college football and get my school the death penalty. Not saing I did it, I’m just saying that it was absurd.

The commentary is apalling. I actually had to just turn the game off because I became so tired of them glorifying that little pussy like he is some war hero disabled in battle and wronged by the government. ESPN makes me sick. Its all spin on their part to try to get out damaging Mike Leach’s reputation.
I find it funny that James isn’t getting to play though. I am sure he had planned on not practicing all week and then playing, but now that little plan is gone due to this blowing up. I hope he never walks onto a D1 field again.
