Took the word right out of my mouth
"I’ve established a reputation for integrity. I have maintained those high standards" - Craig James
If they were playing Flag
I don’t think anyone could have gotten him. What elusiveness. I will be excited to see if he can bring that to the next level.
Running Back all the way...
He is an ok tackler…. but an AMAZING running back
River Boat Gamblers are ALL IN!
Just imagine . . .
this kid lining up at the other inside receiver position opposite Boone. He showed some good receiving skills for a RB/LB.
That's what I was thinking
He looking more like Welker than any running back in our system.

I am impressed with TT & Willis going out and finding kids outside of our traditional recruiting grounds. Lucky is very well spoken in his interview and has some crazy moves. Hope his visit to Lubbock is not too much of a culture shock !!
I spent my whole life in West Texas but left for a few years for post-grad. Took me a few weeks to come out of shock when I came back. Not so much culture shock but just getting used to the ‘scenic vistas’, i.e. red dirt and tumbleweeds drifted up against anything that stood still.

I experience that every time I come back to town from East Texas.

To avoid "culture shock"....
keep him away from the Belltower.
"There's going to be ups and downs but you have to enjoy the battle." Mike Leach
catching the ball
was anyone else impressed wth his ability to catch the ball. I think to be a successful back in this offense that is a “Must Have”. Very exciting!!!
Wow to have another great 44....
Maybe the RiverBoat Gambler can be “Lucky”! TTech needs this 44! Wreck’Em Tech
The other teams
Should have added an extra 50 yds on the field so that they would have a fighting chance against this kid. PUT HIM ON THE PLANE!!!!!
39 seconds in...
I think litterally the entire other team hits him at one point or another and he still makes it to the endzone.

I only counted . . .
15 defenders that touched him or were within arm’s reach and missed. Definitely an ankle-breaker.
How would you have liked to been on that defense? The silent locker room and bus ride post-game; the endless drills and puking on Monday. We would have been begging for sheds and closets!
I can see it now...
The silence from players, the coaches screaming whilst spitting dip in your face, water coolers thrown across the room, hardest practice ever monday with the worst thing our coach could come up with for conditioning… Then on top of that, at the end of the day we would be running the Oklahoma drill, and if we whiffed there, more windsprints. Rough day, thanks for the terrible memories.
None of that talk.
Treating players like that at a major Big XII university in West Texas would get a man fired……

Florida RBs name ?
Does anybody remember the running backs name that TT visited when he was in Florida? Last name was Gainer I believe.
Brandon Gainer
I read today he has said North Carolina is the front runner, and they have already extended him an offer. UCF, USF, and Oregon round out his top four.

Senior Year . . .
He makes lateral cuts like he’s playing Madden.
Off-topic: Do they not know how to grow grass on football fields in California?

The field that my 5-year old son plays on had more grass. Radley looked like The Roadrunner with the trailing dust plume.

Faster AND stronger!
I was more impressed by his senior video… he shakes guys, but when he cant get out of it he just plows through them. It usually took 4 or more guys to drag him down. I want this one. Tommy, make it happen! He has heisman level talent, and thats now. Give him 4+ years with Bennie and Katy bar the door, can you imagine?!
I can see Radley at H as well as rb.
I suspect he has the ability to establish separation !!
If Gainer is the real deal at rb, let’s get both.
