Have any of you been to Waco? Driven through Waco? There isn’t a whole lot there. Probably not as much as is in Austin, Houston, Dallas or even Lubbock. To pull top talent from under NC & Dike noses is amazing, if not a little suspicious. With all that has happened there lately one has to wonder what is going on in Waco for so many elite players to want to go there. It could very well be very legitimate, But, just wondering……
TTpilk Psalm 117:
1 ¶ O praise the LORD, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people.
2 For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the LORD endureth for ever. Praise ye the LORD.
Grew up about 35 minutes from Waco.
Can’t agree more, its lacking in so many areas. There’s nothing but overpriced, under populated bars and strange folks. No offense to any living in Waco, the area around it is gorgeous (looking at some land just outside of Bellmead actually). But after the Taco Bell incident I cant help but wonder… I know back in the day when big Leonard Davis (Cowboy’s lineman now) was graduating from Wortham, he had grown up an Aggie all of his life. When it came down to signing day, aTm was going to require him to take real classes while UT offered for him to take nothing but remedials due to his athletic ability. Guess where he ended up? The evil empire. I wonder is Baylor isn’t bringing in thugs and not making them do work, all for the sake of good athletics.
oops
Make the “from under NC and DUKE noses….”
Just a slip of the fingers…..ha.

I seem to remember PK complaining about how difficult it is to recruit in the Big 12 and Lubbock. These coaches don’t appear to be having any problems.
How you pick Ok State over Kansas I don't understand, but bad news for everyone else in this conference.
