Gameday Video: Break glass only before kickoff.

PrintAfter converting our basement into an HD Theatre, it quickly became the neighborhood hot spot for "Rowdy Gameday" celebrations, especially for televised away games. In preparation for the next season, and as a coping mechanism for our recent debacle, I began creating a gameday video. The goal being to marinate my liver for a few solid hours with Coors Light, then pop this baby in just before kickoff, you know, to get my head right. I recently completed said video, and want to share it with my DTN brethren.
Disclaimer: I am not even slightly gifted with a computer, have never used this software before, and the editing reflects these facts. If after watching you feel the urge to: a). weep with pride, b) scissor kick the guy in the cubicle next to you or c) look into Tech's walk-on policy, do not fear.....that's normal. However, if your emotions get the best of you and you feel the sudden urge to scream at women and children, or kick baby strollers......discontinue use. Turn up the volume, and enjoy.

A few observations:
1) I still have a man crush on Kliff
2) I realize that Leach fit in so well at Tech because we aren’t conventional thinkers
3) Tubs has to do more with less….fat chance that we will outrecruit UT, OU and even (gulp) ATM
4)Football is a long ways away and I will have to forego my fishing trip to go to the spring game

We HAVE to have this video ready to be played prior to each and every game! And that doesn’t apply to ONLY us fans here on DTN, but to Tuberville. HE needs to play this each and every game minutes before they play at home or away. I do kind of wish you had that great photo of James Hadnot that was n his “KONG!” poster (which I cannot find a copy of anywhere), maybe the poster itself.

Spring Game can’t get here fast enough! Speaking of which…I know there’s been talk about getting together before the game. Any definite plans being made?
Not that I know of
I’m not familiar enough with the current scene to know the logistics – which bar would hold us all, etc the night before and where any tailgating might be the day of. Has the game time been set? April 17th is all I know.
I’m hoping we’ll have our DTN T-shirts by that time so we’ll be able to recognize each other. Of course, we’’ll probably be able tell the youngsters by the number of empty beer bottles around them.

I'll have to let my brother know
He lives in Lubbock, has a computer, but rarely gets on for anything but to play games. If I get him a t-shirt, I’ll bet he would wear it. If my youngest brother and I can get away, we will travel from Austin to attend. As I stated in a post above, play this before every game. I kind of hope Seth will include it on the Game Day Threads.

College Game Day
TTUMAR that is fantastic. I don’t think I can wait til the first game. I think I am going to have to come up for the Sprint Game. Seth, are we going to have a tailgate party for the spring game. We need a big screen to play TTUMAR video. I think I can play defense now. I just want to hit someone, anyone including the three stooges.
