After going UNDEFEATED so far in the tournament, and

maybe that’s stating the obvious, but i really think his block of Roberts’ dunk sealed the game.

Remember how we used to be made fun of for going to the NIT…..now we’re begging to get into that tourney.
I just don’t see how these guys just run out of gas in the last 3 min of every game. I know this was Kansas, but still it is just like they die when the clock gets to 3-4 min left.
Noticed that KU pulled their starters beginning at the 6 min mark and gave each one about a 30 sec blow.
If we had depth, we wouldn’t run outagas.
side note: Darko had his best game and did not take any crap off KU. Wish I knew Serbian……….I’d say something profound.

I understand that, but this late in the season guys should be able to push past the “wall”. I know more depth, tallent, ect. will help. I was just expecting a little more out ot the team this year.
PK had better get the depth, tallent ect part or he needs to give back the “average of the Big 12” contract and take the minimum Big 12 contract.
playing the back to back games in tournaments also tends to wear the players down so ku had another advantage (not that they needed it) with yesterday off. had we been able to put away the buffs yesterday insteading of letting them back in it at the end, our “starters” might have had a little extra rest

Post game thought
Raiders played really hard and fairly well this afternoon. The offense moved more than I had seen in some time and they just seemed to want to win this one. Kind of a heartbreaker – kinda expected. Darko (yes I am a fan) was great on both sides of the ball.

Red Raider starters outscored the KU starters 61-59. The difference is in the bench points where we get 7 and they get 22. I think they call that deep depth.

I didnt even see the game.
But know it was a 2 point game around 5 minutes, then lost by 12. Blaming it on the coach for letting the team fall apart at the end. I bet he got it close then called a time out when we were on a run…….
Actually, I thought he may not have gotten a TO soon enough
After Roberson missed a short jumper that would have tied the game KU hit a couple of threes & one inside bucket before he took a timeout to settle them down…game over.
