Tech #5 Seed in NIT
Tech secured a #5 seed in the NIT tournament. Not bad after losing the last 7 games of the season and hopefully they can take some momentum into the off-season. Their first game is Tuesday night at 8pm central on Espn2 against Seton Hall. If they win, they will probably play #1 seed Arizona State. These games are very winnable if they show up to play.

Even when the cloud was a thunderstorm of mediocracy this year for the Red Raiders. Wreck’em, Tech, and take some momentum (and confidence) into next season.

I like the matchup we have with Seton Hall. Each team has about the same depth, except it looks like Tech has a bit more talented bench than Seton Hall does. Still, Seton’s starting 5 look pretty dangerous when they are all on the floor together.
Defense is definitely going to be needed to win that game. I just hope Pat Knight is working on that instead of offense.
I also would love to see Tech move through the NIT bracket to meet this year’s disappointing North Carolina squad. lol
Seton Hall is darn good
Seton Hall is a very good basketball team, and they are a basket ball first school. It won’t be any easier beating them on the road. Tech has to show up in full force if we are to come out on top in that game

I hope they do well...
Perhaps a little run will help recruiting a bit. I hope the youger players get to benefit from the additional practice and game time.
