Mike leach's wife selling his Tech clothing on Ebay?
So apparently Mike Leach's wife is selling some of his Texas tech team team issued gear on Ebay.
There are several blogs who have called attention to this, none of which are particularly reliable, however the Ebay username is Captainsbride and the location is set to Lubbock, TX
All of the items are listed as team issued gear.
Check out the listings and tell me what you think. If you think they are real, what do you think they will sell for?

Poverty driven habits must be hard to break
The wife of a guy earning a couple million dollars a year holds a garage sale? What’s the most she’s going to get for all the stuff? 2-300 bucks? It wouldn’t be worth the aggrevation of packaging everything up & standing in line at the post office. But prior to 12 years ago she was probably married to the lowest paid member of his Pepperdine School of Law graduating class. So maybe she is making every penny count against possible future poverty.

fairweather fan much?
You’re a classless jackass. Thats really all I have to say…
Leach might be a lot of things
but I don’t think being broke or poverty stricken will be one of them. He has a law degree, a nationally recognized name, a book due out in a year or so, and a possible coaching job again soon. Plus, he still has that lawsuit thing going on which might win him the lotto.
I don’t see him begging for change on the street corner anytime soon.

That's why I think these eBay listings are from an imposter
cute.

I suspect
Someone set these auctions up this way to get a buzz out about them. Thus increasing page views and prices.
I could be wrong though.

I agree
I don’t think the Captain was a hunter and would therefore probably not need or want a camo cap. Of course, if he was going after three birds on a wire, well I better not go there.

I hope to see my friend and shake his hand. I hope the Pacific is as blue as it has been in my dreams. I hope." Red-Shawshank Redemption

I don’t think they are for real. Didn’t the Leach family move to Florida? if so then why would these items be shipped from Lubbock?
more than likely
if they are Leach’s goods he passed them on to a neighbor of something. I can’t see Leach wanting to sport the double T’s after what happened. Personally, I would have trashed or all that gear had the witch hunt happened to me.

Probably from an assistant coach
They are definitely legit freebies to a Tech program; several of those products were/are not available to the public. That said, I seriously doubt they are from the Captain’s stash.
Imposter
If it were then its a bad one, because as mentioned they are in Key West. A good imposter would know that. Nonetheless some neat stuff. Anyone know if they are having the garage sale this year.
I don't care where it all came from
I am gonna buy that black shirt and tell everyone that Leach tossed it to me after the UT game in 2008. Just like the Coke commercial with the kid and Mean Joe Green. It might get me a few free beers whenever I tell the story in a bar.
I hope it comes with a certificate of authenticity.
