Since Tubs has decided to raise the bar. UT "at home" this year is a MUST win! No excuse for losing unless potts plays. and if potts plays that means sticks better be dead or dying!

UT should be a must win every year when we’ve got them here, and that’s not to say it shouldn’t be a must win on the road as well.

Every game
is a MUST WIN scenario when the bar is set to win championships. Seth mentioned he did not feel Leach sought to win a championship, or did not SAY it. Well, I can’t imagine any BCS Division college head coach who would not seek to win championships. Just because he didn’t say it to us or the media does not mean he did not want one. Anthow, when the season starts, winning all games is the goal, realistic or not, because if you don’t believe it, it will NEVER happen, may not even come close. Leach was on the verge of obtaining that goal and our GOBs took it away. Now, it is TT’s turn. And remember, he’s trying to drum up support for him and his staff after what happened prior to his arrival, so he is going to make such statements even if he would not normally be inclined to do so. WRECK ’EM, TECH!

Road Game Chosen Game
I think it should always be a road game, and I know we already know our focus game. We lost that focus last year, or at least Potts did, and that is A&M. We should always win all of our home games. The Jones should be rocking, and we need to fill the Jones every Saturday. If we want to win championships, then we need to fill the Jones, party early, get juiced up, and be ready to rock. It frustrates me to see empty seats against Kansas State and Oklahoma. Focus Game is A&M. Go Red Raiders.

You’re right. Even if Potts was completely focused, and concentrating really, really hard, Ruff’s D would have still given up 50+ points and 18,936 rushing yards on that dark and gloomy night.

This will probably surprise many...
I know I have been a HUGE backer of CTT here. I still think I have good rational thought and past experience backing that up.
The UT game is a set up game this year. 3rd game, at the Jones, Mack the Smile not knowing what to expect, we’ve got our team back to a great degree, Donghorns don’t. QB with only 2 and 3/4 games under his belt… I don’t expect us to reveal many “wrinkles” in the 1st 2 games..
This IS the perfect setup. CTT and Wilson need ot stunt the **** and vinegar out of their young QB and Neal needs to motion, 2back and AIR IT OUT.
Win this CTT and the naysayers on this board go away…for a week!

But I agree with Chad….3rd game of the season…lots of cards up the sleeve…offense powerful….defense unpredictible…3 game QB for them…stable of QB’s and RB’s for us…OUR HOUSE…no reason we can’t take them this year.

I agree, but....
Tech fans better not fall off the band wagon with a 7 or 8 win season…I hope i’m dead wrong, but I think it might take a couple of years to reach championship level. I’m really excited about the recruiting this new staff is doing and think with continued support this team could be lethal in a couple years.
gotta be on the bandwagon to fall off.
