Texas Tech Official Athletic Site
There are three new videos on the main football page: 4th quarter workouts; a Q&A with HC Tommy Tuberville; and some video of the RRC Luncheon and Dinner (Tuberville, DC James Willis, OC Neal Brown). Nothing earth shattering, but it's something.
Also, if you have Ad Blocker, make sure and turn it off as it was blocking my ability to see the video and it's only taken me two days to figure it out.

It would be nice
if the video was a little larger than a 1" by 1" box. I’m not old and I can barely see it.
He is doing a lot of PR, I wonder how much of it is him
and how much of it is the new PR firm that TTU brought in a few months ago.

I was a big deal on one of the message boards.
I will see if I can scout up a reference….

Linky to Learfield Sports Properties
It was in February, I guess that it actually happened, I think I remember it being announced in 09.

Thanks TM, however, this link seems to point towards sign marketing and perhaps
not a total PR package. I’m curious, as previous posts have indicated as to just what if any marketing plan Texas Tech or Texas Tech Atheletics has. The only indication I get is that it sucks regardless of what it is.

Well, the link did not give much detail
It was more the CEO level announcement.
I believe there was a piece written earlier that talked about getting coaches more involved more…sorry I cannot find it.
It makes me think that the PR part of the football program is certainly part of Coach T’s strategy but there may be a strong element of Learfield SP involved as well.
Kind of like a very conservative company like DuPont who has enjoyed a world wide reputation for safety going out to get publicity by posting a huge trademark DuPont Oval on a stock car adds to their image…so does marketing TTU’s football success, or perception of success, add to image and builds toward a University goal of 40000 students.
