Every summer at Dallas Cowboys training camp, little boys line the fence, cry out for autographs and maybe dream of someday playing for their favorite team.
Years ago, Jamar Wall was one of those little kids. This summer, he’ll be one of the big guys inside the fence.
The Texas Tech cornerback was taken by the Cowboys in the sixth round of the NFL draft Saturday.
"It’s a great feeling,’’ Wall said. "Going anywhere would have been a great feeling. But staying in Dallas, it’s even better. It’s still close to home. My family can come to every home game, and playing with (Cowboys linebacker) Brandon Williams again, who’s a great friend, I’m looking forward to that also.’’

A couple of other notes, RG Brandon Carter and RT Marlon Winn were signed as undrafted free agents. Carter signs with the New Orleans Saints and Winn signs with the Minnesota Vikings.

Good for Jamar !
From what I know he is one of the guys who came in and played with the heart of a lion…worked hard, developed, focused on football and academics…success.
women should put pictures of missing husbands on beer cans
Safety was a huge need for Cowboys
On the other hand, they say you can never have enough corners. If anything, the fact he WAS drafted gives him value and assures he either makes the team or becomes trade bait.
Give 'Em Hell Tech!!!!!
