Linebacker Brandon Williams is hot and tired, and he couldn't feel any better. After missing last season with a knee injury, Williams is as happy as anyone to be practicing again.
"It feels good to be out here with the fellas and stuff like that, man, being active, going full speed and being 100 percent," Williams said. "I mean, it feels real good to be out here once again after missing out on the whole year, not being an outcast in the training room all the time. It's a blessing."
Williams, a former Fort Worth South Hills and Texas Tech star, was a fourth-round draft pick last season. The Cowboys had high hopes for him to contribute as a rookie.
But Williams, who had never previously had a major injury, tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee while covering a punt in a preseason game against the Tennessee Titans. He had surgery and was placed on injured reserve.

He seems recovered 100%
And he is real hungry to go out and play some mean football. I look for him to become aa starter sometime this year and hold on to it for several years.
TTpilk Psalm 117:
1 ΒΆ O praise the LORD, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people.
2 For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the LORD endureth for ever. Praise ye the LORD.
Slightly Optimistic?
Seeing how last year he was playing backup to Demarcus Ware before his injury, that’s a pretty bold prediction to say he’ll be starting this year.
In that case...
he would have started a few games last year had he not been injured. Ware didn’t start there for a while, but came in on third and long situations while he was rehabing an injury.
To be honest, though, I don’t see him starting (as long as Ware keeps healthy). However, he could still get alot of play time as Ware’s backup.
