"We played well in the first quarter. Then (McRoy) started to put some points on the board, and we ran into some adversity. We had some guys who started putting their heads down." — Tarpon Springs coach Atif Austin
Lakeland running back Javares McRoy, a speedster who has already committed to Texas Tech, was the star of the game, rushing for 285 yards on nine carries and scoring three touchdowns.

I don't know about y'all..
But I’m excited about where this program is headed. Five years ago we’d have never got kids like this I don’t think. We owe it to the success of the mad scientist, the attention crabtree has got, and probably the recruiting efforts of tubs. We’re headed for greener pastures.

No doubt
Leach was the hire we needed to become relevant and now we have opportunity. I think the future is very bright for Tech and I can see us landing top 20 recruits. I just want our defense to shore up to what our offense is. I like our future and I’m sure Tuberville will be a good leader.

McRoys are the real deal
Javares is a 10.30 100 meter guy. He and Ben teamed up on the 4×100 team. Ben ran a 20.3 in the 200 meters at state meet winning it.
Javares is now ranked #2 in the FL 2011 recruiting class. Getting him is in the league of ut picking them off in TX. See http://www.orlandosentinel.com/sports/os-recruiting-sentinel-florida-top-100-2011,0,5252223.htmlstory.
Better hope we can keep him solid as every major program is attempting to lure him away.
Unbelievable Speed
Both are just unbelievable athletes.
