Will this coach be ravaged by Congress and non-doctors alike?
Concrete evidence of mistreatment, unlike Leach's case. Will be waiting patiently for the un-informed legislature wanna-bes to pull her in front of a Congressional panel. If this coach doesn't catch more public heat than Leach, I'll have to throw in my gender conspiracies.
Funny how being cheap is costing another school dearly. In this case, it was being too cheap to buy out a contract despite the need to. With real evidence of player mistreatment, I'm inclined to think that the OSU admin is worse than ours. I know, I know..ours is pretty freakin' hard to top but at least they weren't blatantly negligent despite the growing body of evidence of true player mistreatment.

Much, much worse than Leach
While Mike Leach had his moments, they pale in comparison to what this woman dealt out. There is no reason to berate someone who without any doubt has an injury, especially a head injury. In the Adam James incident, which I still feel was way overblown so the admin could justify their despicable acts, No one actually verified the “concussion” he had, and he apparently did not need to go to an emergency room for treatment. While it is the norm for a coach to yell at his/her players, this person appears to have gone way overboard with her antics. Actually, she sounds a lot like what Bobby Knight must have sounded like, except he did not belittle people with legitimate injuries. Sometimes the youngsters need to be pushed a little to get to where they need to be in order to be competitive. But a line must be drawn that should not be crossed and this coach crossed it many times, it appears. The fact that the Oregon St admin sat on their collective behinds too long shows that those in charge are not always in charge, or do not perform as though they are in charge. If there had indeed been prior incidences at Tech that would have warranted disciplinary actions to be taken against Mike Leach, there was never any clues of them, as there were in this coach’s actions. But, since the Oregon St admin did take action AND provide parting compensation to the fired coach, they would, it seems, be a little bit better at handling the ultimate decision making part of it all. I agree, this coach should not be allowed to coach again until she has gone through some sort of program to try and make some changes in her behavior. Hopefully, for her, she can change.
TTpilk Psalm 117:
1 ΒΆ O praise the LORD, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people.
2 For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the LORD endureth for ever. Praise ye the LORD.
OMG
A basketball coach actually throwing a chair? I cannot imagine.
