Bront Bird: Interview for Odessa American
Bird gives an interview to his hometown newspaper. He says he is now about 252 pounds with as good or improved speed. There is nothing incredibly noteworthy, but at least it's something to read in the slow season.

252 lbs is something
I had not heard Bird had bulked up that much. If he has gained a bit of speed while getting bigger, it can only mean good things for Tech. I always liked Bird, but was frustrated to not see him with more time on the defensive side during games. Now, we will all get to see him play where he probably always belonged. None of the media will understand how important this is, bu we fans do and are excited to see positive things happening for this team I am ready for some football.
