Drive Chart - glass half empty
The drive chart shows that TT started several drives in great field position, thanks mostly to the Red Raider special teams. But think about this . . .
The Red Raider offence started with the ball in the UNM red zone on four different occasions on the 3, 7, 1 and 13 yard line. All four of those offensive drives resulted in TDs and 28 points by only moving the ball 24 yards in 6 plays and taking a mere 1: 28 sec off the clock.
Add to that Zouzalik’s 55 yd TD reception on the 4th play of the game, and you have 35 of TT’s 52 points occurring in 10 plays in a little more than 2 minutes.
