  • The combined 2009 record for the two teams that Tech played was 9-16. One team was 8-5. The other was 1 -11.
  • The combined 2009 record for the two teams that UT played was 9-16.  One team was 7-6. The other was 2-10.
  • Tech's combined margin of victory in their first two games was 43 points.
  • UT's combined margin of victory in the two games was 44 points.
  • Tech has outscored their opponents in the first half by 28 points.
  • UT has outscored their opponents in the first half by 27 points.
  • Tech has outscored their opponents in the second half by 15 points.
  • UT has outscored their opponents in the second half by 17 points.

The game “at Rice” was hardly that, there were 70,000+ there and not even 1000 were Rice fans, hardly an away game

Is Tech +3 or Texas will win by 3 points, generally in the betting world home is worth three points so they are saying less than a touchdown difference between the two teams with a slight edge to Texas. Sounds pretty close to a tie for me, but then again we were -17 against SMU.
