There is no water to be bought in the stadium by the fans…

You’d think they’d have trucks and more trucks with water to sell. Didn’t anyone check the weather forecast??

we need a sack

They should give Stix some playing time,Tubs said he's only one play away from starting, it is the 4th quarter, typically when you put a back up QB in
For the sneak to work consistently...
…..you need a center not afraid to kick the DT in the nuts, and a tall QB to reach the ball over.
Son of a ballsack.

gotta make
that pick. hit him right in the hands.
Watching the game with a friend who doesn't know a lot about fb
Every time Potts handed off to an RB she said, “it’s so obvious what he’s doing he spreads his hands wide open to show everyone he doesn’t have the ball”. Yep.
They probably got them at Wal-Mart.

We're not
going to blow this game…we’re not going to blow this game.
damn it
Potts…how do you miss Corn Dog when he’s that wide open???
Let's get it going again.
In the words of Stanley Hudson “Boy this is a run out the clock situation”…(but also score)

Lord.
……This is reminiscent of Auburn 2008. Need to run the clock, but get two imcomplete passes to stop it. Arrrggg.
POTTS!!!
You CAN’T try and throw a shovel pass that far down field!
Good grief.

I have a sick feeling right now….should I just keep telling myself it’s the first game of the season.
No excuse
This will set the tone for the rest of the season. We cannot lose the opener, in a new era.

This kind of reminds me of the Tech of themid-late 80's
This team plays much better…but in the 80’s we would play a good game and then shoot ourselves in the foot at the end. Oh please let it be different now!
need a safety

Hit Padron in the teeth dang it!!!

Sorry to be this way
That ol pirate is lookin’ pretty good.
Whitlock
Taking 3 gys to block him and still pushing back into the QB. How is no one else getting pressure?
Are we running the Prevent?
We’re just giving them yards.

Threw up a prayer.
……In years to come, Tub will be able to rotate DEs in the game, and you’ll have a better pass rush late.
They're playing like...
They don’t want this. Frustrating.

yeah
if we wind up losing this game, he might not be able to raise 25 cents.

Our D gets off the ball fine, but no second effort. Help me out.

Appreciate your insight & support...
But it’s not Tuberville on the field. It’s the players Leach & Co recruited as you pointed out earlier. So I don’t think Tubbs rules necessarily apply in this situation. Wish they did!
thats it, way to go Duncan

As I've said before....
……Tuberville tends to struggle in openers. I wouldn’t read too much into the closeness of this game.
Need consistancy on all three sides
this game shouldn’t be this close

D needs to play like that all 4 fucking quarters

I was kind of shocked...
…..that Tub didn’t in the first half. That turned out to be the winning margin, too.
WTF???
Taking a knee out of the shotgun?!?!?! That’s new.
Man,
…..y’all are great fans! I’m out. I enjoyed watching Tub’s debut in Lubbock, and thanks for putting up with me!
Yes thanks
you are always welcome, don’t be a stranger
Potts
was playing like it was 2009. I don’t see any improvement to his game time performance, he may have improved tremendously in practice but after that one sack in the second half Potts just completely lost his rhythm like he did last year, as if all the experience he had playing in between did not make any difference. Very worrisome.
don't totally agree
I think he really has improved a good amount, especially how he handles some of the NASCAR offensive timing. He made some fantastic throws that I never saw last year… but he’s still got a lot of work to do… he’s not throwin off his back foot all the time… he slips every once in awhile but it’s not CLOSE to how bad it was last year.
Wreck 'Em Tech!
