Hi again all... one last time a big shout out and thank you to all those who sent me off at the SMU game. I've never felt so welcome! I will be in Fort Worth for my pre deployment stuff during the UT game. Curious if anyone else would be in the area as i will watch from the Fox and Hound in downtown Fort Worth. Should be a blast as thats where i watched us beat them in 08 before that deployment. Let me know...Wreck em'

Flips - 35W & Western Center
For those of you that like to watch the games in a good Sports Bar & Grill type atmosphere without the smoke, you should check out Flips at 35W & Western Center, north of Fort Worth. We watched the first half of the SMU game there this past weekend and really liked it, they have a couple of areas with large projection screens plus a number of other TVs all around the place. One of the biggest things that made us REALLY like it was No Smoking! I love Sports Bars, but I can’t handle the smoke, so Flips offers a great alternative.
very much dig the no smoking...
i always liked waffle house but never liked leaving there smelling like an ashtray… so as you could assume, that waffle house on western center/ 35 is the best waffle house ever as it’s no smoking… i may have to stop by flips this weekend, hopefully they have the tech game cuz i don’t wanna drive to jakes downtown

I have my private pilots license, i just dont have the money to get here (plane rentals like 100/hr times four hours) then tickets…
