Fish Bait, Not Poop
Well, that's more like it. I can support a fish bait prank : )

OH MY GOD THE VANDALISM
The buses had Texas Tech emblems written on the doors as well as Wreck ’Em Tech written on the windows," Gomez said. “It was easy to get the writing off but the smell coming from inside the bus was strong.”
Yeah, so now shoe polishing windows and fish bait = the most horrible vandalism to happen to a&m.
What are they gonna say happened to them when they start going through the SEC? Murder? Rape?
Okay, well the raping might happen, but it will be on the field.
Wait a minute - The buses smelled like that when we got there
Errr I mean when the ruffians got there.

Easy mistake
If I had a nickel for every time I baited a fishhook with manure…

I don't think we tell you that
you’re awesome enough.
That being said, you’re awesome!

I'm glad Tech is looking at it as a prank...
I wish this had been posted and said on Fox Sports and ESPN on Saturday:
Texas Tech Communications Director Chris Cook said, “It’s unfair and unfortunate that our students were immediately pinpointed as the culprits in this alleged incident – it’s unfounded,”
Texas Tech is describing the incident as a “prank” and not an act of vandalism.
Texas Tech Student Body President Tyler Patton wrote a letter to Texas Tech University President Guy Bailey Sunday saying the University “should take a more proactive approach in calling this for what it is: unverifiable allegations puffed up by our conference rivals to further reduce our credibility as a student body and as a university.”

Maybe he hasn't ever been fishing?

But one would think he would know what manure smells like....

I second this
Taking this incident up with the Big XII sounds like the best course of action for us.
Yeah, maybe they'll kick TAMU out of the Big XII!
Oh wait….
Before a mad scientist goes mad, there's probably a time when he's only partially mad. And this is the time when he's going to throw his best parties.

On another note:
How does ut get slaughtered and still remain in the Top 25??

Another theory
Maybe A&M thought they should describe it as poop, because it would potentially become poop if you ate it.
With this theory, if we sent them a fruit basket, it would also be poop.
I walked by the atm buses after the game--
I just figured that the smell that was coming from the vehicles was simply the normal Aggie smell…..yuk!

It was a message to Coach Tuberville
Fish or cut bait!
I’m a city guy so that one really doesn’t mean anything to me. But Tubs like fishing, so he probably feels upbraided.

I also heard….we are showing pictures of various aggies to some sheep near Lubbock. They really take their animal husbandry program seriously.

A police lineup to find the Aggie rapist?
Take your time Bah Bah, do any of these Aggies look like the one who snuck up on you?

Guess he got the email from Speath with the details.

The ESPN gamecast for the Rangers game is faster than the TV broadcast
Strange to see the strike appear on the computer screen before the announcer on the TV calls out the pitch.

On a lighter note
If you draw a line 130.12° from the back end of Soap Suds, it does not end up at College Station, but at the infamous UT tower on the Longhorn campus. So, all the hype about “Suds” facing in a way as to where his rear is pointed at A&M is pure bogus. More appropriately, it points at UT. Thank you very much Saddletramps. WRECK ’EM, TECH!

Soap Suds is too smart to point his rear at TAMU !!

I've had a few days to think about it
First off, Bill Byrne is the same guy that is so mature that he called back some crank caller and left a message on his voice mail saying something to the effect of “come say that to my face, tough guy”. Really mature behavior there. Secondly, isn’t the A&M fanbase the one that openly cheered a ROUGH late hit on Colt McCoy a few years back and then took to calling him Cart McCry? And THEN they get butt-hurt about people in the crowd booing “injured” players? Fuck that.
And the crazy thing is
All of the “Aggies” I know that are outraged (Outraged, I say!) about this happen to be people that, for one reason or another, attended A&M, but either transferred to a different school or flat-out just didn’t graduate. This whole thing has left a BAD taste in my mouth regarding our friends in College Station.
TCU accepted the Big-12 offer to join the conference
So hopefully, we, the Big-12, will get an upgrade in the process. At least TCU wants to be here.

Word is they have been popping up all day
Here and elsewhere in a false flag talking about how much they are hurt by this and that (speaking as Red Raiders.)
Seems about right. I think a few of us fell for it too. I even predicted something like that with the bus angle, but didn’t see it coming from this direction. Bah – Wasted my time on aggies today. That’s always lousy.
My grapevine says the higher ups are beyond happy that it happened, if only to let a little air out of Aggie tweeter guy publicly. Apparently you don’t get the chance to write things like that on official stationary that often and send it to the media.
I would never have that kind of artistic restraint.
I'm amazed
that poor aggie doesn’t know the difference in horse sh!t and fishing bait, those two substances are the entire foundation of their weird quasi-religious, pseudo-military semi-cult, I thought.
I sure hope they enjoy their wholesome rivalry with Vanderbilt.
RANGERS WIN WITH A GRAND SLAM IN THE 11TH INNING
WOW. WHAT AN AWESOME GAME!

The Ranger bullpen saved the game! The starting pitcher only lasted 3 innings. Adams gets the win! I will remember this playoff game for a long time!

How humiliating...
If Kirby Hocutt lied like that I would be so embarrassed.
And in my opinion- stink bait smells worse than cow poop (or w/e kind it was) haha
I don’t think the harmless prank put us in a bad light. The outright lying about the harmless prank briefly put us in a bad light. It appears that has been cleared up now and it is the hysterical aggie that looks bad. Shoe polish on the windows and fish bait is not spray paint and manure.

problem is
they talked about it on national tv during the game.
sure a retraction and correction can be issued but who will see it now? damage done
CNNSI has this listed as one of their Top Stories on the main page this morning
Glad the facts are getting a little nat’l press
Throw first and ask questions later.
Are they sure the smell wasn't damp sheep?
I’ve smelled sheep before….it ain’t pretty.
