Dayum!!

You’re up too early. Of course, I was up feeding the baby at the same time and never thought to check the DTN.

It just sounds more serious that way.

“Well, I got up early this morning.”

“I was up at ZERO-FIVE-HUNDRED texting Aggies and looting villages.”
Almost sounds more “Aggie” though, so…

Me? Ron Roberts had me expecting to wake up dog paddling.
Aint wet here. Need Coffee. Cross useless weatherman off my list of “Ohyeahthatguyknowswhathestalkingabout” .

Maybe we should have the coaches do the weather- even after my thoughts about that the other day.

There is football today. I have more coffee. I can Swim. It will be alright.

And I am not sure I want to know about the Texas/Ou game or not.
-I mean Isn’t OU the “Texas” of Oklahoma?

I didn't want to get up early this morning,

but if you’re going to make all the monies, the early bird gets the worm.

I have 1 cup of coffee and it takes off ahead of me while I am trying to re-learn how to deal with my new-found consciousness.

Right about the time I get into my second I go from about 0 to warp nine and just gotta hang on for dear life.
It makes for a really fun time to play on DTN. MmmHmm.

Is anybody listening to DoubleT 104.3?

I had completely forgot about Garrett Luft hosting the show. He and I went to school together and lived down the street from eachother. His Dad was also my Algebra and PreCal Teacher in highschool. Small world.

Anyway, he does a great job on Saturdays. Excellent work.

calling everyone I know to make sure we don’t run outta beer. Will try to check in later if I don’t throw my phone at an Aggie.

I'm lovin'

that the whole east coast sports mafia has to start talking NFL because their teams all lost. After the Rangers clinched, there were 5 hours of Yankee/Philly talk for every 15 seconds of Ranger talk. Now, apparently, they will act like the season is over and talk NFL most of the time, with a few game highlights of the ALCS/NLCS. But in the end, the World Series will be won by someone in the Midwest or in Texas, which is nice. Go Rangers!

It's not real...

He is a fatass 30 something who lives in his mom’s basement. He is a prototype cartoon character. His stretched out jersey won’t cover his belly, and I’m pretty sure he never played any sport at all. He gets off on saying stuff that would get his ass kicked if he ever came out of the basement, and the other half of his day is spent watching other people play video games on justin.tv. People try to be nice to him and have a conversation with him, but he wants so badly to be uT that he cannot exude anything but douchery.

And remember, this is the guy who said that 5-7 is better than 11-2 because there’s nowhere to go but up. Seriously. He denies it, but it happened. I also have never heard him deny killing 5 hookers at SMU. Come to think of it, you never see him and Craig James together…

Serious sports question:

With the Red Raiders at 6 and the Rangers at 7. Which game is best to TiVo first and watch first. Typically I put a long piece of paper across the bottom of my screen to keep from seeing scores. But sometimes they have a in game sports report without warning. I’m guessing the baseball game is very unlikely to give a college sports score so prolly watch Ramgers live at 7 and go back to Tech after.

Thoughts?

Gag! I HATE ESPN announcers!!!

Nothing but praise for UT, even when they’re getting shown up. Can they be more biased? Before they even started the game, they were talking about the golden hat as if it were Texas’ and said, “OU has to win to keep it.” I know it’s subtle, but isn’t it really OU’s, and UT has to win to get it at this point?

Blah! Is there a way that TTU could stomp the aggies, UT AND OU both lose, and ESPN goes into insolvency? THAT would make my day!

Random note

watching the Arizona St/Utah game. That ASU qb does a fantastic job on handoffs. After he hands it off, he brings his arms up and acts like he still has the ball. I don’t know if Doege does that or not, but I’ve seen several Utah defenders take that extra 1/2 second to determine who has the ball, and it’s slowing the Utah defense down. I’m going to try and watch for Doege doing something similar tonight.
