I don't have F-X

so me and the Mrs. watched the game from a local Buffalo Wild Wings. All large TVs were on SEC games and UFC.

From our point of view, with no commentary, the hit looked late.
Anyone else see this as an unflagged late hit?

Also, was there any mention of the ridiculous flopping by aTm when Tech would get in a rhythm?

I’ve witnessed good wins by both Tech and aTm. This didn’t look like anything the aggie nation should be proud of.

In the stadium the flopping was getting heartily booed

An Aggie could have been decapitated on a play & the crowd would have booed that he was faking it.

FX announcers noticed the flops on Tech’s first drive because it obviously stopped the momentum. A&M Moore (the one that hit Eric late) was one of the early floppers. FX said the refs had to honor the injury no matter what, but FX hinted it looked fake and that other organizations are/ or want investigation. The third flopper hurt his wrist and went to the locker and FX said see this is why we don’t speculate.

I don’t think FX ever said it looked late. They didn’t show many replays, they said you may not want to watch.

My opinion: Eric dropped the throw and watched the ball bounce. He expected A&M to see the play was over and stop. didn’t happen. Ball bounced right in front of Moore’s face and he still smacks Eric’ leg sideways, grabs Eric’s leg and twists. Then Moore claims injury.

FX announcers did make some kind of comment early on the refs calling for A&M.

The refs were calling Tech tight

And A&M is the one leaving the Big 12. They really hate Tech in the Big 12 offices. If they’re going to favor the quitter over a loyal member, we will never catch a break.

Any chance we can put the refs up in suites in the Overton Hotel?

The Red Raiders also have used true freshmen Ronnie Daniels and Kenny Williams this season. "We’ll have to evaluate that tomorrow," Tuberville said. "It’s not good, but I thought Aaron Crawford did a good job coming in. He’ll get his opportunities, (as will) DeAndre Washington, Kenny Williams. We’ve just got to go on with what we have. We do have some depth. We just don’t have a lot of experience."

The AJ pointed to the notion that we have RD and KW this season…the HC did not mention RD, he is in the dog house. That does not mean that we don’t have some depth, it does mean that RD has screwed up big time, perhaps in a vein similar to Scott Smith.

Whomever it is that takes the field, I expect some mistakes that would not have been made had Stephens been at rb. This is a blow to the team as well as to the offense. Stephens is a leader as well as a darn good TTU rb.

I am praying that he gets back on the field as strong as ever.

Hate to hear that Stephens is out but we have plenty of horses in the stable that match what he can do. I do wish Stephens a fast recovery.

It probably comes off sounding a bit wrong on my behalf but I do think we have a very talented bunch that can play at Stephens level if given the same number of reps. Stephens was a solid blocker for Doege and that is where I see him missed the most.
