Bob Costas interview with Jerry Sandusky on the air now...you gotta hear his response to if he's sexually attracted to young boys.

Sandusky: (pregnant pause) Am I sexually attracted to boys? (pause) SEXUALLY attracted? No. I enjoy young people. I love to be around them. But no, I’m not sexually attracted to them.
A transcript does not do that justice. A lie detector device would have gone off like a Richter scale during a 9.0 earthquake.

just like rape, child molestation isn’t about sex or even sexual attraction. sandusky should be hung by his toenails and bob costas should be sent to journalism school.

He was stellar in that interview…knows the case and asked pertinent and relevant questions. What do you feel he did poorly?

the framing of the question.
costas should do some research before doing an interview on a subject (child molestation) he’s not educated on…he may have been stellar in the rest of the interview but to say “do you like boys” was way out of line.

Must be off chasing more jail bait because he should have told his client to STFU. You just got indicted with 29-something counts of rape and molestation and you’re giving a freaking interview? How stupid can a person be?

I don't care what he has to say about anything.
I’m disappointed that Bob Costas, or Bob Costas’s bosses, thought it was a good idea to hear what this guy had to say. Society doesn’t have any interest in Sandusky’s opportunity to try this case in the media, and the media shouldn’t have an interest in scratching that itch.
I know it is a major story, but the vibe here is that you’re slowing down to get a better look at a car accident, and then reveling in the fact that there are dead bodies and blood, everywhere.
Turn this mother fucker off. If he’s innocent, I’ll listen. Until then, Sandusky is just another asshole accused of molesting kids, and I don’t much care what he has to say for himself.
Wait until he's in prison....

Fair Interview - Bad System
Costas asked some very direct questions. Child raping SOB gave evasive responses directed by a legal team (which we all know is true – making the poor performance even more scary). I see this as more evidence that Penn St. really does not get it. Someone is trying to direct questions to vague answers in an attempt to lessen penalties. That ranks second in sick things going on at that joke of a university.
Big 10 took Paterno's name off the championship trophy...
everyone is heading for the hills on this situation…this is going to be an ongoing story for many months and maybe years to come…we have not even scratched the surface imho…

+1, I was a huge Paterno fan, but this makes me sick.
I have a bad feeling that there are going to be alot of skeletons in the closet that come out after this investigation is over.
