Numbero Uno;
Great win for the Tech baseball team. Ironically we were talking about Tech pitching yesterday, but I hope that Masek being a freshman only means bright things ahead for the Tech baseball program. I always like to see freshman leading the charge vs. junior college players.
Way to go Tech hardball. Good luck in the rubber match today.
"I feel sorry for the guys," Tech head coach Tommy Tuberville said. "They fought hard tonight. We didn't look good on offense or defense at times, and at times we looked pretty good. It's just, I don't know. Weird game.
Agree
Great win for Tech in the middle of a hard road stretch. Tech has a strong coach, just needs another strong arm or two.
Challenging schedule this year: 15 conference games away (including OU and UT) only 12 at Dan Law. Be outstanding to grab another win today in Austin.
+1. The team has had some very good outings against top competition. They are doing way better this year vs top 10 teams. Now they just need to start winning some series against them.

Lost 1-3
The relievers lost the game, giving up the three runs in the 8th after the starter Stewart pitched a great 7.1 innings of shutout baseball. Then in the 9th, McGruder struck out to end the game with a runner on first. Oh well. It was a close game, but they sure don’t count close in the win column. Overall, the Raiders played well in the series, but Ut’s talent won out. With the loss, I am not sure this team will make the playoffs. There just is not enough talent to spread around.

Ty Nurse
I got to watch him a lot at Midland College. Not impressive physically, but very heady floor general that doesn’t turn the ball over. Can shoot the 3 if he is open, but doesn’t create his own shot a whole lot. If we can find someone who can create, he’ll get ’em the ball.
