Red Raiders Baseball Snubbed for Tourney
A bit surprised, but Texas Tech was not one of the 64 teams selected for the NCAA baseball tournament. Still a fairly good season given the fact so many of our guys were freshmen and sophomores this year. Looking for big things in 2012.

Disappointed, but not surprised with this.
I felt Tech needed to close with at least a couple of wins in the conference tournament. They did not, so no post season. It was a very young group of players and this year was a big learning experience for many of them. If Tech can hold on to some stars that will certainly be drafted by the major leagues, they could be looking at a breakout year next year. I would anticipate around 40 wins if everyone returns and plays according to how well they played this year. Some main people also went down that hurt. This seems to have been a recurring theme lately at Tech, so next year I hope they can get through the year without any major injuries. Good luck to the Red Raiders for the future.

I cant believe
that baylor got in to the tourney. Complete joke. I cant even explain how pissed I was when i watched the show this morning.
Exactly
I’m not surprised we didn’t get in, especially with the upsets in the various conference tournaments around the country. However, it’s ridiculous Baylor got in, when they’re only 3 games over 0.500, and like us went 0-2 in the conference tournament. I’m not saying we should be in instead of the Bears, I’m saying if we don’t belong, they don’t either.

Good Season Men
We know the program is headed in the right direction.
Throw first and ask questions later.
Time
I think we’ll see a much improved team next season. These guys just fell short this season but they have still come a long way. Hopefully next year.
