Excellent Leach Profile
Most know where I stand on the Tech v. Leach issue, but I couldn't resist posting this article from yesterday's Washington Post.
A great profile on the coach and some nice quotes from some big players in coaching. Plus, it doesn't pick sides in the dispute. Maybe that's why I liked it...Enjoy!

This is the type of stuff that needs to run ...
for him to stay in the conversation. When he lands a job, look out.
Most people know where I stand concerning Leach vs. Texas Tech, also
I feel an article like this highlights exactly how rediculous it was for Texas Tech to have even considered releasing Leach, much less using a totally bogus reason to do so. I agree that when he returns to coaching, and he will, he has educated himself even more to enable him to become an even better and smarter coach. He will make some school relevant for the next 20 years if one will simply give him that chance. Of course, to do so, he must be working for some honest people and not a bunch of thieves.

Thanks for the post.
Always enjoy reading about the Captain, but hope it soon will be about his getting another coaching job.
Good

Jury finds against Texas Tech in employee case
I found this in the LAJ:
<http://lubbockonline.com/local-news/2011-05-25/jury-finds-against-texas-tech-employee-case>
A jury decided Texas Tech should pay a former professor more than $500,000 for discriminating against him because he is deaf.
Maybe Leach has a chance afterall. It appears he is not the only one to be released without an actual just cause.

Wow-excellent article, thanks for posting Tech92
I also went back and re-read the profile from 2005. I hadn’t heard the Lubbock roller-blading story before! One of my favorite things about Leach is that he’s different and he doesn’t care who knows it.
The bit about Bennie Wylie made me regret that he’s not still on our coaching staff.
But the recent article was really interesting and well-written and I hope we see Coach Leach back in CFB sometime soon.
