Just as I hit “publish” the LAJ’s Don Williams posted a story:
"He’s got some damage, but they think they might be able to rehab it and get him back in another month or so," Tuberville said. "No surgery right now."

noooooooooooooooooooo
We need him badly. Gallington can do in a crunch, bu Keown is a natural center that just does his job very well. Good karma goes out to Justin.

Crap;
I keep reading everyday how top players are dropping like flies around the conference, and I was just hoping that we could avoid the inevitable. So much for having returning OL. Players need to step up.
"I feel sorry for the guys," Tech head coach Tommy Tuberville said. "They fought hard tonight. We didn't look good on offense or defense at times, and at times we looked pretty good. It's just, I don't know. Weird game.
Already our top 2 centers are hurt
First morales now keown

This is definitely a big blow
The o-line will have to work harder to get their chemistry back. One injured player can mess up the entire line and Keown was consistently good. Get well Justin Keown.
Injuries are part of the game, but they seem to be more a part of our game than ever before. I know we didn’t talk about injuries until recently, but they do seem a much bigger part of our game(love that speech after the Baylor game at JerryWorld). Did we make the right choice on strength and condition? Nevermind I can answer that, we had the best with Bennie.

Isn’t Gallington awfully tall for a center?

2008 Roster indicates 6-4, 347, currently 6-3, 328....
looks like a general shrinkage thing…..

I'm guessing that Gallington has the brain to play center.
You’re in charge when you’re playing center. Best of luck to him and Keown.

Get well Justin
This is not good! The OL is key to your offense and Justin has been the Rock of Gibraltor on that line.

Well 6 weeks means he’ll be back for the Nevada game. Fingers crossed. At least its not season ending.

Here is to a quick and complete recovery Jus-tan.
Not only do we need this one, but he is certainly deserving of a good senior season…deserving beyond his ability…a long winding road traveled with character and dignity from what I know.

Sucks!
Not good but I think we’ll be fine for the early games. Hopefully he can return for the A&M game.
