Harrell leads Pack on final two drives.....beats the Colts

Ok, I don't have the stats, but Graham Harrell, after getting picked and giving up a late touchdown to the Colts, successfully lead two drives that gave the Green Bay Packers the win over the Colts.  His next to the last drive resulted in a touchdown pass from Harrell (I believe his first of the seasn).  They then went for two, where Harrell complete a quick slant.  Green Bay went for the onside kick, got it and the Graham moved the ball within field goal range for the win.   Congrats..

It was beautiful to watch.

I threw an office chair in old fashion. Congrats to Harrell and the rest of the Packers.

Saw that!

I really think he’ll be starting somewhere in the next 5-6 years.

Proving AGAIN

No matter what happened earlier in the game, Harrell has the mental fortitude to persevere and put the team in a position to win.

this make me

exceedingly happy. Here I did with a big grin on my face for Graham’s effort and a game that I did not see. Thanks for the update.

I saw that

Harrell looked tight and was not on with his throws at first. But by the third drive he started to hit his receivers. His numbers were not great, but he settled in and looked like the Harrell of old, taking GB downfield with precision, hitting the TD pass after scrambling to buy time, with a “be-be”", as the announcer labeled the pass. He had about three passes that were on the money just dropped by the receivers, but he sure held things together in the end. Rogers was ecstatic after the TD throw & subsequent 2-point conversion, giving Harrell a wide-grinned welcome to the sidelines. There is no doubt that Harrell will he sought after by some other team by this time next year, hopefully one that really likes to pass it a lot.

Harrell's TD

I saw the highlight at a bar, it felt so good to see Harrell get the last minute TD and drive GB to the game winner! He was clutch at Tech, he can be a clutch QB in the NFL too.

Also regarding TD count, this is actually Harrell’s 2nd TD. He got one the game before against Arizona, going 7/9 for 81 yards and a TD.

Thursday Sept. 1st is the next game, I’m sure he’ll be on the field again in the 4th quarter. Go Harrell!

i watched the game last night too

Harrell was streaky at best last night but he did drive the team down the field late to get the win. Now me being a cheesehead, it thrills me to no end to see one of my favorite tech players don the green and yellow. I was cheering pretty loudly last night in my apartment.

GH is starting to make a name for himself;

I would love for him to get at least one more year in Green Bay. HC there knows how to develop QB’s. I predict GH will be starting for somone in this league within two years. Remember, he is running with the 2’s and 3’s. There have been about 6 dropped passes in three games. Put him with the one’s, and there you go.

"I feel sorry for the guys," Tech head coach Tommy Tuberville said. "They fought hard tonight. We didn't look good on offense or defense at times, and at times we looked pretty good. It's just, I don't know. Weird game.

It was greeeaaaatttt!

Proud of him. Started slow, then relaxed. Remember he was working with third stringers, hard to tell if they ran the right routes and how much they have worked together as a unit. So ala-in-all it was terriffic. But he needs to get stronger, those are big guys tackling him. His arm strength looked plenthy good enough for the NFL.

Question: How many QBs will they keep active? Flynn looked more lrealex in there.

Maybe the Niners can pick him up...

Harrell to Crabtree…oh so nice…

It's possible...

Matt Flynn is a free agent at the end of the season and may be next years Kevin Kolb. This would allow GH to move into the number 2 spot on the depth chart.

Whatever happens

Harrell would make a fine QB in the NFL one day. The colts should scoop him up. They play shotgun on almost everything. Harrell, I think, would be very comfortably in that system.
