Everyone Hates Craig James but what about his son?
http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2011/writers/richard_deitsch/08/22/collegefootball.television/index.html?xid=cnnbin&hpt=hp_bn10
So, I come across this link on CNN SI. It seems that ESPN is employing the worst of the worst. I love how these guys that are in the industry are asking the question on why the hell is Craig "big daddy" James still in business. Also, Is it me or is Leach starting to get a ton of notoriety around the country. Maybe it's the book or his show on Sirius. Either way, Im happy for Leach.
So here is my question to my fellow Red Raiders: Adam James is currently listed the starting tight end. While I totally believe that Jace Amaro will be a top notch TE, he doesn't seem ready for the starting role. So...it looks like we will have to get used to seeing #82 on the field. Will you cheer for him or support him? I personally hope the kid learns from the last couple years and grows up. I just want to see my Red Raiders succeed and like it or not, Adam James is a Red Raider and I hope he has a good season....................... .But his dad can kiss my ass.

I hope he matches his reception totals from last season
2 seems like a reasonable number.

NCAA '12
This really surprised me when I bought the new NCAA’12.
James is not in the game. not even a back up tight end. It should be his senior year, but EA did not put his number in the game.
They have Jace Amaro in it, and every other player that I could see.
Do you think Craig James will call up the President of EA sports and tell them to fire the Creative Director for NCAA ’12?
As I understand it...
Amaro has been hit with nagging injuries…..which is why NB has been forced to use James.
If the kid produces on the field and is accepted by his coaches and teammates, then that’s good enough for me. Do I want to ever meet him or become friends with him? Exceedingly unlikely; but I do want him to beat the guy across from him every play that he’s in for.
Have to admit, I do not hate either of the James Gang.
Have not one ounce of respect for Daddy. I think he will talk and whine his way out of a job, and not get elected to anything but a small town school board. For Little Apples, need to pray for him because what he did will follow him throughout his life. If he changed because of all this, then I just hope he makes a few good plays when we put him in the game. 13 more games and he will be gone for good.
Nancy is the bastard child of one of the 6 hookers Craig killed at SMU
I promise this will come out soon.

The hit he took was pure beauty. If he will keep takin those kinda hits, I’ll cheer my ass off for him. I’d link the you-tube if I knew how.

IF (and I can't stress that "if" enough)...
he plays his role properly on the team, then I’ll at least refrain from booing him (mostly). My biggest concern is that he’ll give up on a play, and Doege will get hurt because James isn’t doing his job. Actually, I’m concerned about that whether he gives up on the play or not. Even if he’s doing his best, if Doege gets hurt because James blows his assignment, most people are going to believe it’s because he gave up on the play. Even if he does a 180 on attitude, he’s not getting away from his past until he leaves Lubbock. I have no sympathy for him on that, because it’s entirely of his own doing, and he was old enough to know better.

Yes, he is raised and made .....
It’s too late for him to be a different person. He is who he is. He’s been trained by his dad, and he learned well.
He’s dangerous, like any other immoral person would be. He fermented discord with other players for almost a year before the firing ……. willing and able to hurt and harm any of his targets, because he ‘felt’ entitled to …. funny or not.
If he had any dignity what-so-ever, he’d be too ashamed to accept any assignment on the team and program he has so thoroughly ruined.
It’s not just ‘kids’. What he did and participated in was deliberate and wrong …. and his behavior since shows he doesn’t care.
And what has his lesson been? Know the ‘right’ people and you have the power to do anything you want. It worked, didn’t it??
I have no
The single fact that he tried to fabricate that video gives you an insight into what type of person he is. This team and university is better when this skidmark is not associated with it.
Worthless.

Let's see
if Daddy’s little titty-baby publicly admits his sin, shows contrition, apologizes to the man he framed, and then repents his actions, I will give it some consideration as to whether I will wish him well. Until then, I prefer to see him get his jocked knocked off.

people seem to forget
that most of the players stood by James rather than Coach…… Even when Leach was fired, most of the players seemed to have the impression that leach had fallen of his pirate ship and hit the rum a little too hard. Unfortunately Our admin should have done a better job researching allegations, Leach should have conformed just a tad and been a little more humble, and the James family should have known the actual attitude and potential of Adam. I assume Craig was overly-involved due to some little white lies from Adam. Needless to say, we all need to move on. Three wrongs don’t make a right, unfortunately all three wrongs were in the public spotlight and the fans were the ones that had to suffer. I’m still proud to be a Red Raider and will always support the school and our student athletes. It is my escape from reality and a reason for me to check out mentally. Wreck ’em!!

The players that didnt start and get in the national spotlight that is....
Don’t forget Graham Harrel’s letters talking about it. He was a big time supporter of Leach.
little whites lies?
They were great big lies! It was in fact fraud! Nancy should be in prison not getting a free education.

Adam James
Yes, his dad is a major anal fissure, but I hope we get the most out of Adam that we can. Let’s not cut off our nose to spite our faces.
All in all the James' are not important...
Speaking of the boy, if he scores a TD for TTU, I will go Yea !!!
If I was a hiring manager, no way…
That is all I got.
Living large in Texas...Texas forever.
Adam James is an entitled kid with poor parenting which led the the firing of Texas Tech’s best football coach in the history of the program. I can’t bash on a young kid but I can sure tell you that most of what transpired was caused by his little league dad.

Everyone Hates Craig James but what about his son?
I don’t see why his son couldn’t hate him too. Maybe he does.

AND ...
Everyone sees what his dad wrought at SMU, when HE was just a ‘kid’ …… how can they now give Nancy a pass, especially at Texas Tech??
How is he even still on the team??? The answer to that is crucial. It sets the tone to the ‘character’ of the school and football program.
I know if I had a son, I wouldn’t let him pal around with Nancy, even if Nancy did make a couple of plays! Nancy James is a man now. No turning back. He’s just as devious and dangerous as his dad, and in MHO, he admires his dad.
O/T Hance, being comfortable with the ‘likes’ of the James ………. is just as bad for TTU as Craig James is and was.
His daughter almost has to. We didn’t hear about her getting any grief in class, but you know she had to be on the receiving end of a lot of hate and bile (which is unfortunate).

Does anyone else remember...
Back in the old days, Eric Dickerson had a verbal commit with A&M. Craig James was reported to have called on signing day and told ED he could win a “national Championship” if he signed with SMoo instead. So he did, but then he didn’t. He-he.

With all of this hate on CJ
And a dislike for AJ, I was wondering something: Did any of the James gang attend The U? Did they help bring on the mayhem in Miami? Hmmmmmm. Must be another rumor…right….;-p
