… all seriousness and hand-wringing aside, is that UT has nothing. Their last best hope was to save the Big-12. Now it is being reported that Iowa State, the Kansasas and TCU are going east. There is nothing to save. It is all over for Texas.

Boren plainly said that there were two options: 1. Save the Big-12 with complete equal revenue sharing. Or 2. the Pac-12.

Texass is still acting like a player. They are done. They have no options. All of this BS hand-wringing about Texas and all of their power. This entire round of realignment was about one thing and one thing only. Putting Texas in their place. Boren and the Pac-12 have been in collusion for WEEKS. All the talk of Texas to the ACC and Texas to the Big 10 was bullshit.

Texas WILL absolutely and undeniably go to the Pac-12 without any semblance of the LHN as they knew it. They will do so and the ones who are not too ignorant to see it will be glad for the offer. Anybody saying “oh, the Pac may not want Tech because of academics” just doesn’t know what they are talking about it. Antiswarm knows what he is talking about. UT just got a big glass of shut the fu@k up from the Pac-12.

There is no place for Texas. Independence will not work and will only leave uT worse off than aggy. The Big-12 is done.

Say the Big-12 gets saved. It only gets saved one way. Texas takes a second helping of shut up and they fold the LHN into the Lonestar Network. Period. OU has already spoken, and UT is a stepchild in this.

Tech fans, bless their hearts, who want to save the Big-12 without Texas need a wake-up call. That ship has sailed. Not going to happen.

OU is 80% into the Pac-12 and 20% into what can we do to save the Big-12 with Texas being fabulously humbled. That’s it. Everything else is masturbation from people who can’t stand success, or who can’t imagine any world where Texas isn’t god.

The only fools on BON who are still talking about options are the people who don’t know their ass from an aggy and who will still be declaring victory when the deed is done.

UT has NO real options other than to take their medicine.
