PrintI've only been a DTN member for a couple of weeks but this site rocks, due in large part to awesome dudes like Blackbeard and RdrPwr. It's guys like them that make these sites work.
What can you say about Blackbeard? The guy is funny as shit and knows his stuff. I could've sworn he was a lawyer the way he debated the Glasgow contract issues. I can't wait to log on to DTN first thing in the morning to see what new gems Blackbeard has posted. I swear, his posts give me goosebumps. That may not sound cool for a dude to say about another dude but it's true. I aspire to Blackbeard greatness!
RdrPwr is funny as shit too. I love his intelligent humor. He always makes me think. I come away smarter after reading his posts. At night when I imagine him sitting at his computer writing his posts, I get a picture of a redneck guy (probably really good-looking) in his skivvies (boxer briefs I bet) pondering all of these issues. I can see him carefully considering all sides of an issue before imparting his wisdom, most of the time with a sense of humor but always educating us. How cool is that?
Man, these guys are what get me up in the morning and keep me coming back for more. I bet most of you agree with me. Wanted to start off the new year showing appreciation for two great men.

Blackbeard is a down to earth guy
He usually has ingengous things to say or add to any conversation. Sometimes he does surprise with something that is not really Blackbeard-like, but that is very rare. Rdrpwr goes both ways, you know….;). Sometimes he is really in-depth. Other times he is totally obnoxous. However, overall, they both add to DTN making it a worthwhile place to find out all things Texas Tech. I know I enjoy their input, as well as many others. This is just a great place to hang out. Too bad Seth does not stand behind a bar and hand out Samual Adams’ to all of us Red Raiders. Now that would really be nice.

There is a grocery store on the property, but the Danal’s restaurant is by the laundry mat (drug deal zone).

She laughs a ton at some of the back and forth on here. One of our marital agreements is that she had to become a Red Raider fan since both of her parents are Aggies and she went to undergrad in Connecticut. She’s now a diehard Raider fan. Overall she enjoys Tech football but this is literally the first post that kind of freaked her out. Good stuff.
