WBB: Texas Tech falls short to K-State 62-61
The #10 Lady Red Raiders suffered their 2nd loss of the season. They came up short against the Kansas State Wildcats. Tech had a chance to win with two looks at the basket and a jump ball that went to Tech. With 6.6 seconds left on the clock. Smalls put up a lay-up but the ball did not drop through and was tipped to mid-court.
It was a very tough and tight game.
Tech needs to improve on their FT%.
Next up is the ranked #1 Baylor Bears. I am hoping Tech can pull out an upset and beat the Bears at the USA on Wednesday, Jan 18, 2012

This game
was lost at the free throw line. Only shooting 53% of your free throws will not win very many Big 12 games.
An IQ test shows you how smart you would have been not to have taken it.
Hang in there, ladies.
This is a good game to leqarn from. 2 losses do not spell and end to a great season. Just bring it back together, starting with free throws. Wreck’em.
This is a really disappointing game.
Team assist to turn over = 1.0. That is not bad but this team has enjoyed much better and is capbable of better.
TTU allowed 53+% field goals, for a team that is described by the HC as relying on defense to win……
TTU free throws = essentially the same as the opponents field goals….
On their home court….
sigh….
